Anyone confirm whether Netflix does this in the UK, Amazon HD seem to be 720p only?

You only can stream Netflix. You can't download and keep.

Oh bum, thanks . Anyone know any UK provider that does this i.e. NOW TV maybe? I know there are ways you can access US providers that do...

I think Sky do it. You download the movie using the sky box and they send you a DVD, Or theres iTunes.

Don't have Sky sub, but they do it with NOW TV maybe? I want it on a big screen so I'd need to pick up Apple TV with itunes. Looks like either way I'll need a box or use a US service with VPN.....

I don't know if NOW TV do it. I wouldn't imagine so.

Knowhow Movies do, sort of. It's PPV, but you have the option to buy and can stream it as often as you like.

I bought Dark Knight Rises a couple of years ago with a £20 credit with a new TV.

I've since upgraded to new 4k set and it's still available. 1080p but not DD 5.1.

Looks like it's become CinemaNow derek, a cursory look shows a limited range of titles.

With Apple TV you can buy off iTunes, it's yours to keep but you still stream.
You can however download from iTunes to either a computer/laptop, iPhone or iPad.

Thanks, didn't know this, not being an itunes user I never considered you could use it without an apple device, seems you can, so it's an option .

Noticed that on the website. It's still branded Knowhow on my LG smart TVs.

Similar to Blinkbox then?
