So the fcuk what??????? They are celebrities living in a TV studio Missing one hour, or a couple of hours sleep one night is not going to kill them. It's not as if they all have to get up and do a full eight hours of physically demanding work, is it? I've suffered from insomnia, I know what it's like to go for months and months without a proper nights sleep.

From what I remember of the clip shown, Perez woke the HM's up at about 6am, which was selfish and a bit juvenile but that's all it was. FGS, it wasn't life threatening for any of them. The whole thing has been blown out of all proportion. They lost a couple of hours sleep one night, big bloody deal, boo-bloody-hoo!!

As Jennyuk said, that incident was being cited earlier in the thread as an example of people having some kind of false memory syndrome and making up events that never actually happened in the house so they could be mean about housemates they don't like. She was just providing a link to show that it did really happen.

I believe it was behaviour that could be deemed threatening / offensive. They're just covering themselves in my view.

It certainly doesn't deserve all the hatred that has been aimed at him for it - it was a childish (and quite funny) prank. It wasn't threatening to anyone was it? He didn't hurt anyone.

My sister said exactly the same as your first paragraph. I did say to my sister that in America you have to remember they face a lot of right wing, Christians who think anyone who isn't hetero should die. They have a lot of power. I did wonder maybe she was thinking about them, more than here. Second paragraph, my other half has saud he most probably shouldn't like Perez but he does! He makes him laugh. He doesn't like how they gang up on Perez. My sister thinks he's ok and hasn't been nasty and for her, that's what's important.

Reason I'm telling you their reaction is because I've adandoned BB! I watched who was going in, knew with the current BB watchers the nasty piece of work will no doubt win (that's KH in case you wondered) and after Jim Davidson and Helen, can't watch anymore. I quoted the last post on the thread (at the time I was reading it) so why am I being told to check the veracity of that post, isn't that the poster's responsibiity

I didnt post a video, i posted an article. As i said if you had read the whole thread the subject of Perez and his coughing near Alex, was a made up story as the FM hadnt seen it. Myself and other FMs pointed out that the story was true. You then decided to quote me and started swearing, why you did that i'm not sure, maybe you're tired.

He isn't hated because he's gay, he's disliked because he's acting like an idiot...simples. Everyone has the right to like or dislike as they please, majority of the house dislike him, lots of the public do too, can't be all wrong...unless we are and we should be made to conform with those who love him :P

As Jenny has explained, the discussion was about if some us had made up the point when Perez had he's coughing fit, he was on a deliberate wind up. You seemed to think we had suggested waking someone up, is likely to cause them to die or not. Quite rightly, you were very confident, chances of dieing from being woken up at 5-6am are slim to none.

I didn't swear I may have mis-labelled your link as being directed to a video when in actual fact it doesn't link to anything other than an "Ooops, we can't find the page you're looking for", but that has nothing to do with my opinion that losing one or two hours sleep isn't likely to have an adverse effect on anyone's health.


Nice attempt at deflection but all I did was comment on the fact that I didn't think that losing an hour or two's sleep was likely to be life-threatening to any of the HM's, and that Perez had been vilified for something that was stupid and selfish but in actuality was just quite silly. Now, is there anything else you want to be faux offended about?

The severity of what he did is irrelevant. The coughing incident was cited as an example of how his behaviour is deliberate and calculating.
