They've had another since the BOTS one. That's what the article says right? This woman on Twitter said she rang them. I don't think it's silly. It's right. He is a horrid man and needs to learn a few lessons, and if it means a firework up BB's arse to sort them out, then good.

Had it been your daughter or son in Calum's situation, what would you have done?!
Callum was in no danger whatsoever. What Perez said wasn't threatening and there was absolutely no intent behind it. Should we call the police now everytime somebody says something vulgar? Jesus, what is wrong with you people? |

They are in an environment that should be safe for them - hence Perez 'fearing for his safety' when a man copped a feel of a woman's breast - and BB has a duty of care to ALL HMs. I believe it's actually up to Calum as to whether or not the police are called, but it was up to BB to remove Perez. Beyond just the repeated use of the phrase and the aggressive tone Perez used there is the double standard of times Perez has feared for his safety that had nothing to do with any direct threat to him or his person. He should never have walked down the stairs - it should not have been a warning. Katie H for the win!!! |

I'd prefer they spent their time dealing with incidents like this ![]() http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-london-31056608 |

Just to get this straight, you believe calling the actual police over this was justified?

You think it's right to waste valuable police resources over a stupid comment made on a RTV show full of attention seeking indivuals trying to wind each other up?

Why does anything to do with Perez have to involve Katie H winning? When one likes or dislikes either of those on here it's assumed you must like the other! Someone being an idiot is not something to promote another person winning...they have been both nasty, haven't a clue who should win but people pushing against Perez like this has the opposite effect on me
Katie H for the win!!! |

It's actually called a signature...it's something I want to put on my posts, but if you actually read the post there is nothing connecting Perez to Katie H. I support her, I detest that barely human being that is Perez H.
Katie H for the win!!!

Not called the police, that's for damn sure.

Jesus, what is wrong with you people? I've bolded the question that I keep asking myself about people like you who are so easily minimising the gravity of his actions and words, and his lack of any sort of acknowledgement of any responsibility. Don't bother to respond - it's quite obvious I have no regard for anything you might say. Katie H for the win!!! |

To the first part...right. I'm sure you would just sit back and let someone threaten to rape your child or partner or parent without any response at all. Fair enough...that's your choice and may I say I am very happy that the people in my life would be reacting quite differently.
Look, it's clear you despise Perez. That's fine. But you should really stop accusing him of making rape threats like rape is the issue of the week you can beat him with. I'm sure it's offensive to people who have been raped. And it's just gross. Quote:

If this kind of behaviour is what people find entertaining, what sort of life do they lead. He is the sort of person that starts something to get a reaction then gets someone else to blame for reacting. He has done and said terrible things to stars in the states. The sooner the public get rid the better the house will be for the rest. Unless of course there is a fix and he wins. Hope the public get it right and evict him next time. KP will now cozy up to him just to get on the publics side.

People have far too much time on their hands... Wasting police time over something quite pathetic. All these comments like "if he had said that to a women etc..." are just desperate, people are purposely ignoring logic and context, clearly it was just a cheap insult, nothing more.. Often used against men. Get some perspective
No-one batted an eyelid when Katie H talked about shoving the rule book up Perezs ass.. We are all very selective with who we wish to tarnish |

What Perez said what disgusting, aggressive and inexcusable and I am in no way defending him here - I think he's the lowest of the low - but phoning the police over it is ridiculous. Some people need to get a bloody grip.
Do they not realise that the police have actual rapes to investigate? |

This is all down to the PC brigade who twist things to suit them and speak out about it as it makes them feel important.
I remember the saying about having things shoved where the sun don't shine. Surely what Perez said is just an up to date version of that. I, myself have used, "stick it up your arse," a few times in my life, but no one reported me for rape threats. Some people are just idiots. Going to the police. I just can't understand it |

I think people are getting completely carried away now. As the always do concerning bb.
I made a thread on Friday about how vile Perez comments to callum were and the fact that Nadia could blame someone else for the way he behaved. I still think perez is a foul mouthed nasty little worm and Nadia is so consumed with Katie Hopkins that shes blind to everything else. This means she is behaving in a way that a lot of people would consider to be wrong. However, accusations of rape and calling the police are OTT and people are becoming hysterical. Callum is in no danger of sexual assault in the house. Perez is in no danger of being sexually assaulted by Katie hopkins or the rule book either . what kind of minds could even equate the two situations?? Ido think Perez should have been thrown out though, just because ken was and his behaviour wasn't as bad as Perez IMO. Nadia played a Hugh hand in kens dismissaland if she was as moral as she claims to be she would agree that Perez is out of order. She wanted the police called and now the have been. I wonder if she sees the irony. That was a stupid overreaction and I think that although Perez is a disgusting specimen with a filthy mouth calling the police about him is also the rest!t of some vivid imaginations. |

People have completely lost the plot

Absolute madness, the fans of this show have completely lost the plot. They should all be fined for wasting police time. Jeez, the longer this show is going on the crazier people are becoming.
that people come on here screeching about having witnessed a "threat to rape", let alone that some call the police. It's the equivalent of ringing up the cop shop to say they witnessed a murder in EastEnders. Do they even know it's THE TELLY? I wonder. Does it never occur to them that what they watched happened not in real life but the day before in a TV studio and that if there had been a real rape threat the people present, paid actors and film/ technical crew, would have called the police? Do they not hear /see the warning before the show starts that alerts viewers to what's coming? I'm starting to imagine them staying up all night, pacing, worried that Calum Best will be raped once he switches off those bedroom lights he and Hilton rowed about. We probably all need to get out more but, seriously, those who think they witnessed a serious crime on CBB should switch off and deal with their own issues. And those posters who are just cynically using such an emotive subject as rape as a ploy to support HM X or Y deserve a virtual slap - (call the police! call the police! violent threat alert! ) as they are helping to support the delusions of people who phone the police over tacky telly.

I agree that it would not be justified, exactly the same as Nadia shouting 'Call the police' earlier in the series.

THREAT
In common law, assault is the act of creating apprehension of an imminent harmful or offensive contact with a person Do I believe it would have been right to call the police...........NO. Do I believe that Perez used the threat he did to shock, intimidate and goad Calum, YES I do. That sort of behaviour and language is inflammatory and disgusting, do I believe he should have been removed from the house because of that incident alone.........I don't, but coupled with all the other aggressive, sexual and unsociable behaviours he has exhibited from Day One........YES he should have been removed from the house. |

I have got an issue with Perez, At the same time i dont think what he did should have been reported to the Police. Why should the Police waste their time/money and resources on this issue?
Makes no sense, that said how many warnings do BB give until they kick him out of the house, What he said was disgusting, And he should have been ejected instantly for his comments. That would have been the best way to deal with this situation, instead of keeping him for their own means in trying to keep the ratings up. Others have been kicked out for less than what Perez said. Ken inparticular. |
