No, never. I find that as bewildering as most other people do, primarily because of the total lack of conviction behind the majority of what she says. I actually think it's that lack of conviction that accounts for her inarticulacy. Were she genuinely invested in the bile she spews, she'd be much more articulate in her defense of it. And that's the huge fail about her and why she can never be seen as anything other than a trolling hack.

But, on CBB, the entertaining bits are a mix of the bits where she slips and exposes a better Katie Hopkins, combined with the bits where she so transparently remembers what she needs to do to make sure she remains the employable (post-CBB) Katie Hopkins.

But the former are actually the bits that interest me and what makes her interesting to observe.

I don't think she thinks that for one second. You are imo crediting her with qualities she doesn't possess, as in, care for other people's opinions. She has consistently shown that she doesn't have the slightest interest in or knowledge about what anyone else is actually thinking and that her only driving force is what will get her a headline and a spot on some tacky tabloid sofa.

She was sort of a toned down version of what she is now during The Apprentice. She was actually a very credible candidate but did have one guy she singled out as a target for her venom and didn't lay off him at all. I remember some weird comment about his best friends being Mr Pinot and Mr Grigio. She walked before the final before she didn't want to move her family to Brentwood where the job was based.

Maybe that is why she does what she does because she is unemployable because of her attitude. But to me I think her thirst for fame is what drives her to be the way she is. She has been on so many reality shows and was even on the very first pilot of BB.

At the time of TA, she had a really good job (she was the highest earning candidate) so something has gone wrong for her.

Yes, there is an amusing contrast between her attempt to portray herself as a superior, classy person - sneering at people with tattoos, sneering at people with working-class first names and so on - and her clear willingness to appear on any programme, no matter how tacky, at any time. How she would love to be in, say, Graham Norton's position, and to be able to sneer at celebrity big brother as a bunch of desperate chavs. (I'm not saying he does btw; he is a polite person and does not do much sneering.)

We can add old people to the list of people she affects to despise.

Is she 'saying what we would all like to say, but don't dare'? People who really think that must be extraordinarily cowardly people, never daring to express their views, and pathetically grateful that someone else will do it for them.

Another example of her getting shot down in flames / humiliated in public. Maybe thats why she is the way she is.

What she says doesn't actually involve what most would call thinking so surely to say she says what others are thinking is a bit of an oxymoron...............................................
