Longer CBB run - yes or no?

This has been the longest run of CBB ever. Do people think it's the right length, too long, too short?

Should be longer, in my opinion.

Please no longer. Ideally, just an overnight stay.

Personally, I think it's just right. I don't think it should go on another week beyond Friday, 30 days seems a good length, not too short and not too long. It's just a few days longer than last year's CBB series (which were I think about 25 or 26 days long). So yeah, to me, the length of this CBB feels just right. That's just my opinion of course.

If they're insistent on putting people like Perez and Hopkins in then by all means shorter.

The longer the better.

I think that the series length is about right.

It's too short imo -make it longer and sort out the ones just in there for a short career boost to those who are in for the whole shebang.

I don't watch much CBB compared to regular BB but it seems ridiculous to me we're almost at the final and there are so many housemates in there (many of whom we haven't seen much of).

I think it's about the right length

It's the right length for a winter CBB. I hope they don't extend it any further - one month is perfect.

The summer CBB should not be extended though because it follows a 9-10 week BB.

They got lucky this series in that Katie and Perez both have lasted until near the end, that has justified the longer run.

Yes, this has been unbearable. 3 weeks is pushing it.

Too long, especially with one hideously toxic woman trying to dominate the house.

Yet figures are holding up well so people keep watching, that suggests there is a market for a longer run.

I'm a big brother addict so for me, longer... But if it was longer I don't know how I'd fit in all the international big brothers. Bring on BB CA.

I think this is the right length for the Jan BB.
For some reason all the jan series are better than the one that follows the normal show.

I do think they should keep the one after BB at the normal length for CBB though because we dont have time to recover watching normal BB before the celeb one starts and imo its overkill.

This series has been fascinating to watch but imagine if the one with jedward in had been on for this long..Longer length of time means nothing if you dont have a good and right mix of celebs to put in.

No I find it torturous after a while,I prefer the shorter version.😊

If yes they are going to have to have to dramatically change the housemates they put in there otherwise the only people they will get are americans

Not any longer. That would make it boring.

A good length, however the wrong set of HMs.

This ^.

Although this is the third CBB in a row where I have lost interest before the end. Last week I was putting it on and then realised I wasn't actually watching. The at the weekend I was out. Where in the past I would rush home looking forward to seeing the recording, this weekend I really couldn't be bothered to find it on catch up.

I think for me the format has changed to the point where it no longer entertains me.

I'm sure they'll be sad to see you go.How can viewing figures be going up year on year if people are always no longer watching

I guess they are attracting a different audience. That's fair enough. I can't blame the channel for maximising their viewer numbers and advertising reach. That's how they make their money.

For the moment I am still part of the viewing figures because I am still tuning in. All I mean is that although I am trying to stick with it I am finding I have unintentionally zoned out after 20 minutes.

If I have minority tastes that's just my hard chips. I am disappointed but realistic. It won't be the first TV show I really liked that changed or stopped being made.

Absolutely right, I feel the same and will be glad when it's over!
