That broke my heart a little bit. Just because someone goes OTT playing the fool doesn't make them immune from having real feelings.

They have been heartless ...........I feel for Perez

Bet Nadias at home crying her eyes out.
Yeah, crying her eyes out after realizing that she's completely destroyed her credibility.

Personally, i find the sexual goading of an older man in attempts to rile him up so he's kicked out to be a little more than playing the fool, but i guess that's just me and my decent moral values.

I thought that was really funny.

To me, it's that infantile stuff that makes him comical. I doubt he actually meant it, any more than KH genuinely wished for him and KP to experience pain during the letters task.
So they make an effort with him and he still wishes them ill??

If any other HM did that to him you'd would be complaining they were bullying him!

Agreed i love to see different aspects of the housemates even those i dislike. I personally blame CH5s way of editing the highlights in a story driven way for the reason why viewers now see "characters" where they used to see people.
I guess it all comes down to a lack of live feed.
If you watched BB8 on live feed you would be shocked how different the highlights made Carole come across.
Editing and dictating the storylines on a 45 min show without any sort of live feed ( i cannot count the 30min show we get after evictions ) and you end up with exactly what you said "a character" instead of a multi dimensional HM.
What they showed tonight was powerful, but some just cannot accept it was anything but a performance piece.

Perez had a game plan before he went into the house. His aim was to be an arse, be entertaining and turn it into the Perez Show. The thing is, his plan spectacularly backfired on two levels. Firstly, it looks as though what he thought would be entertaining to the viewers, isn't entertaining as far as most of them are concerned. Secondly, he's completely alienated most of his fellow housemates due to his behaviour. More importantly though he didn't account for Hopkins who has effectively pissed on his chips. He's completely underestimated her willingness to fight dirty - she didn't give a hoot about trying to isolate him or about following him around continuously pointing out his "faults" and provoking him. She's ruined his game plan. To the majority, he now comes across as a cretin not as a fun person who is entertaining.

Of course Perez, being the game player that he is has a card up his sleeve......and he's decided to play it.

I think there is a sad man behind all that bravado...typical clown. Of course the atmosphere in the house doesn't help, but I think he brought the sadness in with him. He obviously has regrets about his past behaviour. 'I used to be Katie Hopkins'....seeing himself in her. Lets hope he can turn his life around when he gets out.

A very considerate post.

No, I really wouldn't. You don't know me at all, so don't tell me what I'd do.

They are heartless. As annoying as he was I never felt like Perez was cruel or heartless or evil, and I'm speculating here but I feel like if Perez saw someone that isolated and sad he'd try to help them.
I still remember the first night and unlike others I remember a decent Perez who was the only one that worried over elderly Ken not having a bed and the only one to offer to share his. It was actually this that first made me like him.

After that he's had his ups and downs but this ridiculous blaming of him for everyone that left and blaming him for their bad behaviour and for all of the problems in the house has just become like a mantra uttered by everyone as a result of some kind of mass hysteria.

I don't blame Perez one bit for breaking down. I'm just surprised it's taken this long

Nadia is busy reading 'The Psychopath Inside'...there's a photo of her on her husband's Twitter.

I wonder who that was a reference to....? *scratches head*
That is seriously sick from someone in the public eye. What is her problem???

Yep ................living in a house for over three weeks 24/7 with no escape and every one persecutes/hates/ostracises you - it's mental cruelty.

He's a bit of a knob but .............he isn't super human. That'd get to anyone.
Maybe if he wasn't such a bellend he wouldnt be in this position?

So being a bit OTT and annoying justifies the behaviour of the others does it?

Sorry but I cannot feel sorry for him; sadly I think this is all an act.
He has been intentionally vile since day 1.

This is simply just the next chapter in his 'journey' - the poor 'bully victim'. And too many mugs are falling for it.
Nail on Head

I'm at people believing this shite ,the whole bloody thing is Contrived

Why are you pretending that the reason why they all dislike the scumbag is because he's just a little OTT. Stop being disingenuous.

Indeed, how dare she be seen in public reading a book.

These decent moral values don't include not being misogynistic then.

In a way yes. He chose to annoy almost everybody in that house. What exactly did he expect when all the people he didn't annoy left?

I'm not.

I'm honestly puzzled as to what he's supposed to have done that's so bad.

Please enlighten me.

Fair point, I probably would have felt the same if he hadn't thrown in the line about it being more upsetting than the death of his father. C'mon, that's ridiculous
I think he was drunk, missing Nadia and feeling very sad and alone. Maybe he was just drawing on another time he had felt that bad - when his father died. It's ok to wallow when you are sad and drunk and everything gets magnified. Or is that just me when I drink gin?

You're being very 'general' - how did he annoy everyone? Was it when Hopkins told everyone that he was being annoying?

I thought he was quite funny.

I actually laughed when he was in the diary room because it is so obviously an act to garner some extra votes and support from gullible people.

Perez hasn't just acted a fool and danced around the garden, he has used extremely powerful sexual language and hurled it at people's faces, he has baited and goaded, he has told blatant lies purely to cause conflict and when people react or retaliate he steps it up a gear and becomes even more aggressive vocally.

He's playing a game and if people are gullible enough they'll believe him.

He's an irritant. If you irritate a group of people you are living with for 3 weeks, guess what they don't like you. The shock of it

I dunno, but I'm guzzling a bottle of Gordon's right now, and all this talk of isolation, death, mourning, it's set me off!

I don't know, I can't speak for why a group of people I've never met find him annoying. I did wonder how long it would take for Katie to be blamed though. Of course the rest of them couldn't form their own opinions

Of course Perez was annoying early on. I can easily see why people wouldn't warm to him, get annoyed by him, not like him.

But anyone who revels in his isolation, hopes he feels bad,or calls him 'nobhead' behind his back, reveals themselves to be a childish, mean-spirited bully.

Keith is an example to Cami, Calum, Kav and Katie how an adult with morals and compassion is supposed to behave.

You might think Perez is a nob but to enjoy him feeling bad just makes you a bigger nob.
