I much preferred Davina as a presenter and i confess to not watching very much of BOTS over the years, however i never understood why she was given a role at all.I think the show should always have had a different presenter from the start.

It does seem a little strange to announce her leaving the show immediately when the series isn't finished, why not leave on the final night?

Do we sense some changes ahead now that Viacom are in charge?

Tonight’s edition of the magazine show will be the last to be fronted by the 38-year-old, and Rylan Clark will take over with immediate effect.

Rylan is slated to host the remaining four episodes of the current series, and bbspy understands that he will become the sole presenter of BOTS when it returns alongside Big Brother’s sixteenth civilian run this summer.

However, Emma will continue to host the main show – including launches, evictions and finales – and it is expected that she’ll still make weekly guest appearances on BOTS.

No reason has been given for the move, though it is believed to be due to Emma’s workload, with her profile having skyrocketed since she became the face of the main show.

Just five months after she replaced Brian Dowling, BBC One hired her for The Voice UK – and last month the broadcaster announced that she will team up with Reggie Yates on new gameshow Prized Apart.

If this is true could it be because she is having another baby??”

Massive shame, Emma is so much better than Ryan, I think she's great, I might not bother watching BOTS if Ryan is doing it, he's ok but nowhere near as professional as Emma. Emma will be massively missed but she has been great gradually bringing in Ryan and teaching him the ropes.

I got excited, I read it wrong. Thought she was leaving altogether. But in fairness she is better than Rylan (as much as I like him as a person) But I think big brother needs a fresh batch of presenters, production staff and may as well throw a whole new house in too.

So did I. I cannot stand her high pitched voice. Agree as Rylan does my head in as well

Maybe Emma has made a BB bucket list before she leaves. Perhaps she's entering the house as an actual Housemate to see out her final series ever

to be honest Im not surprised. with her doing The Voice, This Morning and apparently shes taking over from Dermot on x factor, I think we're just lucky she isn't quitting BB altogether

Terrible news. Rylan ia awful. His schmoozing is tedious and his ego seems to expand by the week.

She's gorgeous but I've never liked her presenting style.”

I'm pleased she's going, like you say the squealing is annoying and she thinks she's hilarious - always laughing at herself or a private joke in her earpiece. It takes her forever to get through a sentence sometimes.

I don't mind her presenting other programmes but can't bear her on BOTS.

Have to admit, she is stunning facially.

Ugh, I really like Emma on BOTS.

I have nothing against Rylan but I just don't think he is a good presenter and I struggle to watch BOTS with him. I hope they get a co-host or something.

Yes. There were much more sensible discussions without bias and no ridiculous screeching and messing about and better guests too !!

Plus all the extra shows Emma is involved with ... This Morning and stand-in host on Loose Women. I think she mentioned a radio show too with Matt Johnson. Busy lady.

Rylan wasn't great to begin with but he has got a bit better over time.

Hopefully the main shows will improve and not seem so rushed. An hour on eviction night isn't long enough and 90 mins of BOTS is too much.”

And the voice.

Not surprised really, she doesn't need to be doing these spin offs anymore now that she securely has the voice and big brother in the bag.

It is easier for her to be targeted with accusations of bias and therefore face a backlash on BOTS too, whereas if she's on once a week that wont happen.

I'll be sad to see her go but can't say I blame her. Prime time TV is where any of them would want to head for. Davina did it. Dermot did it. The pay cheque will be a lot better I assume, and let's face it. Big brother has passed its sell by date. There are only us die hard fans who watch these days.

Good luck to her, I say🍀

Oh she's still doing the main show, I read it wrong *duh*

You say that but the ratings are up this series.
