I wonder how much of this thread will be devoted to your spin about Nadia's spin about CBB.

How very meta of you.

Just to be clear, I mean they talked as if the edit had made it seem she tried to stop every row. However, I think that even in the edit, it didn't seem she tried to stop every row.

I think that to Nadia's credit she didn't go on about editing issues or even say much about them, and she said she had to be judged by what was shown.

One interesting thing, imo, is that someone on the panel thought we saw the real Nadia back (laughing etc) during the time when Perez was away.

...

We're back. She claims that 10 hours a day she and Perez had a good time, laughing etc.

"What doesn't kill you makes you stronger" she quotes and says she feels stronger than ever.

Viewer question re why she didn't intervene when Perez was having his go at Calum but was straight in when Katie was involved. She took the "I am not his Parent" line. She says what Perez said was an insult, not a threat. She doesn't address the Katie part of the question.

You are joking She does no wrong in their eye's. Their double standards are outstanding.

She is coming across well. I expect Hopkins' Sun column won't be as nice as Nadia is being.

Viewer question does she think that what Katie does in BB is for camera time.

Nadia says "yes", and the audience applauds.

(No one points out that Katie wasn't doing such things before the clash with Perez developed or even suggests that Perez was about camera time.)

Why is Ruth coming across as a headmistress ?
Does she hate Perez that much ?

Or watched one episode and chose not to watch anymore as it is dire. That does happens with some programmes.

I'm not watching as have never really been a fan of the show. However, it's interesting to note that Nadia said she laughed a lot with Perez and there's a thread on the forum pointing out the many fun clips that don't make the main show. I guess BB prefer conflict to fun and it suited them to make it look like Nadia was having a great time without Perez. I actually thought those couple of days were quite dull highlights, not for the lack of conflict, but for the lack of Perez being in there to liven it up.

LOL as if she isn't prepped about what to answer and as if they are gonna let a question like:

Hi Nadia, why were you such a sanctimonious, two faced hypocrite who looked down on SUN readers...ie YOUR VIEWERS!

Are we to believe Polly Toynbee doesn't miss an episode of Loose Hags?

The background pic of Hopkins was very well chosen.

Objectively, we cannot read her mind to tell whether she's honest. She said some things that don't fit what actually happened very well.

Whether she's been "entertaining" is necessarily subjective. I don't think she has been, though the -- far from impartial -- audience seems to love her. She has been a bit self-deprecating at times, but self-justifying at others.

She is not giving any "giving a great insight into what it's like in the BB house." Can you find anything she said about what it's like to be in BB that we don't already know from past series and other HMs?

How short sighted. She needs back up, she's a coward, all bullies are.

She wasn't asked if Perez was grabbing camera time, I suspect her answer would be, yes.

Michelle provided back up for KH on Day 9 it by starting a house divide against one person. All perfect fodder for Hopkins dysfunctional psyche and she jumped on the bullying band wagon with a gang behind her. Centre stage and camera time grabbed.
I suppose her weekly adolescent two faced reports from the house are normal adult behaviour too?

Yes some people do make snap decisions/judgements on very little.

Every day different topics are covered different guests are on.

According to some there is always some dishy male on that they are salivating over and making lewd comments.

Daft isn't it? I think they strike a balance between fun stuff, topical stuff and sometimes more serious issues.

I said it before and it was an instant thread killer .

I watch Loose women - I enjoy it.

I think a lot of people jump on a band wagon criticising it and have probably never watched a single episode.

OK

I'm not gonna stoop to justifying what I've said. I've said it - I believe it to be true.

That has, unfortunately, been true for many years. It's one reasons it's better to have a live feed. But that sort of thing applies to other HMs too. I won't be only Nadia who's had fun left out.

I don't think BB did make it seem Nadia was having a great time without Perez.

...

Since I can't keep up with everything, I haven't pointed out that they have selected about 3 times as many viewer comments that praise Nadia as ones that asked critical questions.

Well said Penny! The ridiculousness of the 'it's rubbish/you watch that?!?' contradiction really does need highlighting. What strikes me most about the routine criticism that LW gets on here is that it drips with misogyny. And no one ever calls that out.

As to the charges of salivating over young men, it's perfectly fine to have dozens of male dominated panel shows wherr women are leered over, apparently.
