Why does she always have to voice her opinion. In an extremely boring house, he was childishly entertaining himself. When Cami and Pricey asked what he was doing he told them this and said he would clear it up. When BB told him to stop, he began clearing up. Hopkins voiced her ill-informed, offensive comment to goad Perez and bait Pricey. Nobody asked for her opinion. Perez's biggest problem is he responds to her. If he ignored her, it wouldn't irritate the other HMs and she would become insignificant.
