I thought it was beautiful and I like Callum.
I wouldn't mind if he won.
So did I. It is a very famous poem and said what his Mum wanted to say. I see nothing wrong in that. The words are beautiful.

agree 100% a very heartfelt poem
when we buy a card for a lovedone we choose one with the verse or poem that expresses best how we feel about that person we can't all put into words what we want to say and poems and verses have been used for many many years in this way

It was written by Calum's mum because Calum's mum is like a poet, according to Perez.

I agree. I do the same thing.

maybe it's a generational thing - but I think 'young people today!' dont really care too much about cards, or the words contained in them.

Or in this instance we just see a self entitled bore. who needs to get a job and stop living off his late fathers latent glory.

that's a bit harsh. I wasn't talking about Callum specifically there.

& he has a job anyway - he makes PERSONAL APPEARANCES, or something.......

Basically she was telling Calum by keeping his cool and taking everything that's thrown at him, he is showing he's a man.

Dude had talent. Poetry AND cakes. I'm impressed
ha ha I upset my cousin once, trying to impress me talking about Kipling and I said "is that not the chap that makes cakes" - my sister just burst out laughing and my cousin was not amused - well I thought it was well funny
