I think the penny is finally starting to drop that he could actually win this thing

It proves what a joke the show has become.

LOL he's such a messed up human being, but so entertaining (and no I didn't shut my eyes to some of the things he said and did, he's entitled to his freedom of speech as much as anyone else is).

It would be more of a joke if Hopkins won

Why would it be a joke if he won? What exactly do people look for in a winner? The best housemate? The person who has contributed the most? If that's the case, it's Perez.

He'd actually be a great winner IMO. He's one of the most memorable CBB housemates ever.

I'd normally be all for the most entertaining winning instead of playing it safe but I'll be seriously disappointed if Perez's behaviour is rewarded. As much as he has stirred the pot and been a powerhouse of a housemate he is one of the vilest people I've seen on one of these shows ever.

I don't think so. It would be appropriate for a nice person to win.

So far, Hilton has been kept in to provide controversy.

However, when it comes to the final. he will not win as he is not loved.

I just liked it when he said to turn Katie Hopkins upside down and use her nose as a hoover.

It would certainly be better than a KH win. And I do think he probably deserves it.

Yes, but look at the alternatives.

He may not be the nicest housemate ever, but I have to say that I perversely admire the amount of energy he's brought to the show.
Where on earth does he get that energy from? I couldn't do what he did and keep it up for so long.

You'd also have to blame the show for focusing on certain things and ignoring others.
But I think it really comes down to the alternatives on offer, and there isn't much there.

I think he deserves to be in the top 3. His relentless commitment and energy has been unstoppable. I think he's given a lot to deserve a very high placing. But I think I'd prefer Keith to win. I wouldn't even mind that much if Katie Price came in the top 2. I don't mind if she wasn't what people expected, I find her to be okay really and that she isn't trying too hard or acting desperate is something in her favour and quite refreshing.
The rest I don't really care much for at all.

I definitely agree with your first sentence, and as for your second sentence I'd say quite possibly.
As I said in my post above, just look at the alternatives.
I'd be happy for Keith to win, but due to the lack of a better alternative I wouldn't mind if Perez won.

I just don't know what Perez has done that people call "vile"...?

I certainly can understand the fact that he's annoying and a diva and self-centred and always "me me me me" but what is "vile" about that?

What has he actually done to anyone that can be compared to Katie H pursuing Perez around the room spitting insults in his ear such as "you are a hideous person" ?

Can someone give a direct example of Perez's "vile" behaviour that was prompted purely from malice and not in an argument?

This was pretty much my thinking yesterday. Today, however, after watching him masterfully expose Callum's paper-thin facade I'm climbing aboard the Perez train with gusto.

I wouldn't mind a Keith win, or a Pricey one for that matter, but ultimately I can't escape the niggly feeling that neither has quite done enough to deserve it.

So Perez-1, Keith-2, Pricey-3 would be the perfect result to me.
