It was duly noted by me too. The HL show made a point of it in the edit as well.
Calum, Perez's mate who watched his back.

The clip finishes with Calum walking off in a huff.
How many times have we seen that?
I bet he thinks he looks tough when he does that. It just makes him look as people on here have noted, that he can't handle criticism.

It was Calum who tried to start on Perez here. He started it, but then had to storm off when he realised that he couldn't finish it.

No, he's not a chilled out guy. That is not a chilled out guy. Which makes his other two claims that he's genuine and honest untrue as well.

That's not news. I think most people know that Perez looks a fool most of the time. Even when Perez is bad, it's sort of good.
I think most probably agree that Perez looks a fool, but he has an amazing talent of bringing out the foolishness in others too. A side to them that they try to hide.

Calum really didn't need to start that. But he did, and as a result he managed to reveal himself as the idiot which for most of the time he tries to hide.

IMHO Calum walked away rather than giving Herman Munster a slap in the face, after living in that house for this long, i think Calum showed real restraint.

That's the thing. Perez often manages to come out with things which ring true about people, even when he's being a complete arse.
Granted, he doesn't always look great himself, but he exposes something in others which they'd rather try to hide.

I think that was a very accurate assessment he gave of Calum as he sat there enjoying his spaghetti.

Yes, I think he's quite happy to be the fool and the idiot. He's very good at that. But I think many of them seriously underestimate him. He does hit on things which get under their skin, and it's not always because he annoys them which makes them angry. He very often hits on truths which they know are correct but try to deny.

He showed more restraint than I would have.

If Big Brother refuses to test Calum then I appreciate that at least one housemate has obliged us with that. Otherwise what's Calum there for? To 'just turn up'?

It's usually Calum who tries to start on Perez. Probably thinking it's safe to do so because it's got the blessing of his gang. So if he wants to try to act like the big man to Perez then it's his own fault if it doesn't go the way he would have wanted it to go.

It was Calum who tried to start on Perez there. Perez said nothing to him but Calum insisted on trying to keep interjecting.

Find it funny how Perez can have the cheek to accuse someone of attention seeking when he's the biggest attention seeker there. ****. Glad Calum is standing up to him!

OMG Calum got owned. Awesomeness.
Like or dislike Perez, he makes awesome tv.
Calum tried to be his friend? When?
They're all annoyed that Perez is still there.
Calum must've hated to be compared to Patsy.
Oh and the eternal nomination that Perez was on didn't work either. lol.

Omg can you imagine if he did... I think Calum would tw*t him one (as my son would say). Tbf he would be wearing that spaghetti if he spoke to me like that.

Great to watch ... at times ... but I fear I would be arrested if I had to spend any time in a house with him. So kudos to all that have seriously done their time over the last few weeks.

I love that Perez just sat eating his food while calmly tearing supposedly 'chilled and laid back' Calum apart and showing him up for exactly what he is. He genuinely doesn't give a damn what Calum thinks of him because he thinks nothing of Calum - and why should he? Perez has made his own money and his own way in life - disagree with how he does it, or not - whereas Calum's lived off his dad's name since time began and has no career to speak of, other than appearances in clubs where it won't be long before most of the people going to them won't have a clue who he is. He's irrelevant.

It makes me laugh that Calum, trying to be the big Alpha Male, thinks Perez is the easy target so goes after him and then Perez just ties him in knots. Perez has got the measure of all of them in there and knows exactly which buttons to press to get a rise from them. He knows how to play the game, he knows what BB is all abut and has more than earned his fee so, whether you like him or not, he is the only deserving winner of this series.

I don't know. Maybe because more people voted for him to stay than did for Cami Li?

Seems like someone said that's the way it works.

Great skills.”

Great post!

He is the absolute master at playing this game, but I hate how he's doing it completely at the expense of so many other people - even the people he claims are his friends.

I actually sat here and read this thread wondering how anyone could say that Perez got the 'better' of Calum in this clip. Perez goaded him and got a reaction, but to me that's not success - that's simply manipulation. The fact that Calum can keep his cool 95% of the time and the fact that he stood there and listened to Perez basically minimise what his mother said in her letter without letting his emotions take hold...that's success. I'd take 1 man like Calum over 10,000 like Perez.
