HDMI switcher

Hi, have just set up a 4 input/1 output switcher and am having problems with interference from my Freesat remote. I have changed the code of the remote but now when changing channels or viewing the EPG, the remote is very slow to respond. Can anyone please advise how I may resolve this. Many thanks in advance,

Vital bits of information missing.

What make and model of Freesat box do you have?
What make and model of HDMI switcher do you have?

Impossible to be specific if we don't know what we are talking about

What exactly do you mean by interference from the Freesat remote?

Also what exactly do you mean by changing the code of the remote? This could mean changing the code the remote uses to control the Freesat box or it could mean changing a code to control a TV if the remote is a multifunction type.

The more detail you provide the better.
