Anyone who calls for anyone to be 'shunned' cannot be a worthy winner in my book. And her inability to tolerate others who choose not to persecute who she wants persecuted is also not a worthy winner in my book. Give someone like Katie Hopkins power within society or a country and you have a dictatorship and a nasty one at that.
Katie Hopkins is a snob who possesses no empathy, patience or understanding for any human being who is not like her. She has a 'posh voice' which makes her sound superior (especially to Americans likeMichelle). The very people who are in her gang I believe she also despises. However they are useful to her in the house so she will tolerate them because they allow her to take over the power in the house. But do you really believe she would have anything to do with these people on the outside? If so think again . Take her friendship with Michelle, do you think she really likes Michelle?? When she's been in the diary room we've heard her sweeping loathing statements for 'Americans' which proves she's using Michelle for her own ends.

People admire psychopathic personalities all the time however, that's why so many of them rise to powerful positions in society. They are good at' working' people to achieve their own ends. I certainly don't have any liking for Perez, he would drive me crazy but he is still a human being. However it's not only Perez. If she perceives that someone has their own views and doesn't worship her as 'leader' she will rally her gang toward displaying intolerance toward such people too. We have quite a few people with Katie Hopkin's character traits in positions of power in the world because they have been given the power by others who see them as 'strong ' leaders (then have come to regret it),

My response was to Rapunzal1977 but you wouldn't expect me to respond rationally to someone intent on name calling or labeling Katie with ridiculous names like Oik, bully etc. I haven't yet heard her called a murderer but I am sure it won't take long for that to happen.

If anyone wants a discussion about Katie, then I am up for it but I would prefer the poster to have some intelligence and some common sense.

Again, there really is no such thing as common sense. You just means your sense, which is apparently of higher value that the sense of others. "Common sense" is very often used by the right wing to try to toady favour with the Common People.

Excellent post, it really hits the spot. We are divided along the lines of 'those who think everyone should sink or swim on their own' and 'those who think that a civilised society needs some kind of safety net to protect the disadvantaged from starvation and death.'

Interesting take on Perez.

Have you considered that Perez Hilton does not and can not act and behave in the outside world, the way he does in the BB house?. His comments alone, if acted out in the real world, would soon see him seriously harmed.

If you accept that he is acting up just for the cameras in BB then you have to wonder about his state of mind or whether he is indeed a nasty piece of work. Any parenting book will tell you how to deal with a child that throws tantrums, does and says irrational and provocative things and that advice is to "isolate and ignore".

Katie is absolutely correct in urging others to remove the fuel from Perez's rantings until he decides to behave in a more reasonable and rational manner.
