Big Brother really isn't live?!
I read an article by someone who visited an eviction way back in 2010. She revealed a lot of stuff, but this bit shocked me; Quote:
I think it was well organised and they didn’t encounter any problems throughout the show. The only part that was different for the TV was that it was filmed about 10 minutes before actually being broadcasted on channel 4 so it wasnt technically live.

Yes, they build in a delay to most live shows in case of Incidents, bad language, possible legal issues, mentioning details of family or friends, etc. Didn't seem to work well with this year's cast.

I think they do a number of "takes" of things like face to face evictions too, apart from a 10 minute delay.
Nothing is as it seems, it seems. (but we knew that, didn't we?) |

A slight lag (up to 15 mins) is generally accepted as "live" on tv, no need for tin hats!
