Leona Lewis shouldn't be on that list, and there's little point in continuing the debate of the vocal trinity as one is dead, one is irrelevant, and the other can't sing anymore.

In their prime, all three women were incredible singers but that is a time long past and they have nothing more to offer modern music other than satisfying fans, which is what they should be doing anyway (obviously Whitney is excluded from this).

If Mariah Carey still had her 90s voice then she would still be successful, as she does tend to adapt to shifts in musical trends quite well. But because of the state of her physically (this is both image and vocal) she's just become some kind of parody of her 2005 self.

I'm a huge Leona fan so her and Whitney are my favourites.

Whitney's voice in her prime was incredible. Celine still has so much power. Mariah was good in her day, but her recent performances have been shocking.

For anyone who questions Leona's place with the other three, I'd check out a couple of videos and then deny her talent.

It's a shame but everything you said is quite spot on, although I wouldn't like to think of Celine as irrelevant. She still sells her albums and plays sold out shows every night!

I have to go with Mariah. I knew who she was but Emancipation, well We Belong Together, made me fall in love with her. I think she gets overlooked as a songwriter too. Sadly the voice has gone but I still enjoy her songwriting.

Celine is consistent, very consistent in both her vocals on track and live.

Whitney I've always put third because even at her peak I cant stand to watch a lot of her live performances.

Leona goes fourth by default because I don't think she has the voice or the material to be mentioned alongside those three 'divas'.
