I cant work out if
A) he actually believes it might happen and is using it as a way of getting a quick dig in about who is desperate to win in there, not counting him of course,
B) he actually believes it might happen and he actually thinks they believe he's the only one who doesn't want to stay so they fix it for him to win / stay as a punishment
C) he knows it wont happen its just a message to the gullible public that hes the deserving winner amongst a bunch of desperados
