On last nights BBOTS I heard the most sense and straight talk spoken by a psychologist. He critiqued all the HMs (imo fairly and constructively) and when asked about a winner he said that a win for Perez would validate the appalling behaviour he has exhibited on CBB....and that for me speaks volumes.

I hope he comes ahead of Katie H, that would be perfect. But not if he actually wins...Come on. If anyone here is saying they actually like the guy, I'm sorry but they're an idiot. The guy is generally just a terrible human.

I'm sorry but I find that post offensively idiotist...

Appalling behaviour has been supported in the past and those that have behaved in an appalling manner have gone on to win. Why should it be condoned now?

Go figure.

Calling FM's idiots isn't good. People disagree with you, it's allowed in life and this is a discussion forum.

Perez is an expert, Callum is a petulant talentless child and doesn't stand a chance against him.

Depressing isn't it

SO much love and time given to such dreadful behaviour here on DS

He's the embodiment of all that's gone wrong in society (imo) self-delusion/entitlement, oblivion of others around

a world where the negative emphasis is now shifted to those who give in and get angry rather than the one relentlessly goading and provoking, a feminised world where balls have no place, where opinion is deleted or banned, where decency and reserve is 'boring' and hated on in favour of 'entertainment'

You can argue that drama etc. is the BB way but ultimately this is - away from the presentation/production values - essentially a study on individuals and their natural behaviour and if we see that individual IS the nightmare as portrayed then to slap it on the back and say well done is to my mind demented almost to the point of abstraction

Have your 'winner' folks

I presume he would have a huge problem with a win for Katie Hopkins as well then? She prides herself on her directness and rudeness to people.

Erm.......I'm not supporting a win by Perez or by any other HMs who exhibit appalling behaviour and I'm not condoning those behaviours either....could you explain what you meant by your post?

An expert what.......nobhead? If that is the case indeed Calum does have a lot to learn from the Master!

I hope both Perez and Katie Hopkins go tonight because I would be interested in a full interview with both of them .
But maybe Perez would not like to do bbots and would prefer to have the much shorter interview on Friday.

Thoughts anyone?

It's pretty simple really.

Graham said that if Perez won it would be condoning bad behaviour.

I was merely pointing out that bad behaviour hadn't been condoned in the past ie take a look at previous winners.

So those that show bad behaviour (call it what you will) have indeed won in the past, so if Perez won CBB that would make it no different to some previous winners.

He included Katie H in his that too."Like I say they're very very similar".Not the only time either.
What name??

He's daft. BB isn't a morality contest otherwise we wouldn't have the list of previous winners we have.

And they wouldn't be paying a psychologist (nor they take the mone) to sprout psychobabble about people they haven't examined if it was an ethical show. However, mist people take the psychs view for what it is. Bullshite.

Fraid I have to disagree with you...........Helen Wood won in the summer, so people have already condoned bullying, foul mouthed, duplicitious behaviour and then rewarded her for it..........I'd hate Perez to feel that his behaviour was equally condone.........God knows what he'd do, say or write next!

Indeed he did anne.

Initially, he said Perez and that was the example I was giving.

Basically, if some of the past winners could win when they also displayed bad behaviour, why make an issue of that now?

I fear our Graham was blinded by so many white pearlies he was thrown off course LOL!

Tis ok to disagree, that's what the forum is all about.

That's my point exactly, which I think you may be missing.

If Helen Wood (as an example) can win taking into consideration her behaviour, why make an issue out of Perez's and I'll add Katie H as Graham also mentioned her behaviour.

Bad behaviour has been condoned in the past, so why worry about that.

Graham probably hasn't watched the show that much.

It's the same as saying a nice person shouldn't win, when we have actually had nice people win in the past.

Do you see my point?

Listening to some of his observations, I struggle to believe he's actually watched much of this series. His comments about Michelle, in particular, were so far from the truth of most of her behaviour.
