I'm just considering this now, and the thought occurred to me that perhaps there is genuinely something a bit wrong with her. In that it may be the case that she seriously can't accept the idea that if Keith nominated her he can also feel for her because of the manner in which she was evicted. She doesn't seem to think it's even possible that he could feel empathy for her. It may be that she genuinely can't comprehend that.
Now for me that is slightly scary that somebody can actually be like that. It would mean that they would need to have absolutely no concept of what empathy is or what it feels like.
