What is Calum Best famous for exactly, besides being a serial shagger and compulsive cheat. \He is known as a sleaze ball and thats it, that's his claim to fame. Celebrity my arc.Perez is mega annoying etc but he is being attacked by others for things they are doing and are themselves.

why come on a thread about him and continue to flog the same story over and over.. we know, you hate him, don't like him whatever. How many times can that be said.. and be met with aight.. now what? again? and again.
wouldn't it be better to go on a thread and talk about someone you're interested in.

like i said this is the big brother forum which involves lots of negative posts about hms thats how its always been but like i said people always throw in that argument when their favorite hm is being attacked. if you want too see purely positive things about perez then go in his appreciation thread if he has one.

well alot of so called famous are famous for silly things including people who are famous for slagging people off in papers on their blogs and are famous for either getting beating up because of it or constantly getting death threats.

He has from the start, that's what's great about him - he knows the show and had done his homework on those rumoured to be going in, he's been brilliant to watch and is the only winner, for me anyway. I sort of hope he goes before the final though, I want to see him on BOTS, but CBB will be dull to watch if he does go.

Callum was TOTALLY OWNED! Callum lied and said he had had Perez's back until the previous day. LOL! At the end of the show Callum actually admitted he didn't even know Perez. With "friends" (lol) like Callum, who needs enemies. Callum always nominates him then listen to what Perez says and then rats him out to Katie and Michelle. Callum was EXPOSED as a liar, two faced, angry yet boring irrelevant housemate.

He called out Michelle's use of the word "gameplay" and she tried to backtrack and he owned it and exposed her (this was before he owned her again over the LGBT COMMUNITY….he said what many of us are thinking)

He exposed KH for her lack of sincerity over Cami's departure and her trying to get camera time and trying to rile up Keith. Actually Keith was doing this but Perez blew it up in a good way.

Perez made my day. I had a long stressful day at work and then I started giggling at Callum's hypocritical self-righteous simmering rage as he ranted and raved (while lying and attempting to put a spin on everything…Callum failed AGAIN) about being genuine and how he had always had Perez's back and they were buddies (Callum is so self-deluded) until Callum got all butt hurt the other day for being shown to be the bitch that he is. Is Callum delusional or lying? If Callum was really emotionally hurt I would feel sorry for him but all he does is rage and worry about how he is viewed. Callum is delusional about him coming off as genuine and "real" then later it was so funny when he said he was a closed book. I literally laughed out loud.

I would love a transcript of this episode! All the exposure and hypocrisy of everyone except Perez (and to some extend KP and Keith).

Perez's delight at Cami's departure was so refreshing! Imagine how often housemates have wanted to do something like that but instead held back the glee and had fake tears. This is being real without being mean (Cami wasn't in the house). Perez was real to all of them without insulting any of them. I LOVED it. OMG, the rage from Callum and Kav when Perez said he didn't like them….you would of thought he said he wanted to slit their throats…how quickly they forget that Callum just told him that EVERYONE HATED him and Perez said he didn't f*cking care. I do think Perez cares a little but I love that he said he didn't care. Unlike pathetic Callum out in the garden trying not to loose his sh*t which he already lost.

I feel slightly guilty about how gleeful I am that Perez owned them all as he exposed the gameplay, lies and hypocrisy. It was so easy for him….he just told it like it was but didn't need a gang to give him power. LOL, if this was like sex, then multiple orgasms were involved! He was my favorite from the beginning and remains my favorite (also like KP and Keith but they haven't been as entertaining). None of those 3 are mean imo. Perez just isn't as diplomatic at Keith and KP I'm glad Perez isn't being diplomatic (and isn't being cruel). Lol @ "I don't like you" and Callum runs away in a sulk. What a weak wimp!

Just watched the show on Youtube. Perez absolutely annihilated Callum.

Callum came across as pathetic and weak and kept resorting to cheap digs at Perez to try and bring him down, but Perez delivered a devastating critique of him.

Perez was spot on, all we know about Calum is that he's a 40 year old man who trades on his fathers name and does reality shows.

What was funny was Callum rewriting history with Michelle later. It was so deluded.

Was amusing how Perez didn't bat an eyelid at being called the C word twice.

That was Callum's best shot and it had no effect whatsoever.

Interestingly, it was Callum who was out of control and Perez who was very relaxed.

I don't know. With Perez things like this they are and they aren't.

Calum chose to pick an argument with him. Perez took the challenge on. Calum got angry, Calum trounced off in a temper.

Calum was the one who resorted to petty name-calling.
If you do that then it looks like you haven't got any substance left in what you say, so revert to school playground name-calling.
Where with Perez, he was firing off many actual points at Calum, which hit home.

Personally I think that Perez enjoying his spaghetti worked in his favour.

I reckon that he thought that he would end up looking like the big man who sorted Perez out and would be seen to be the hero.

Turns out he got his fingers burnt and ended up being consoled by Michelle and Kav in the garden as he licked his wounds.

But it wasn't the truth. Perez I think came out with more truths. And I think in Calum's case the truth hurt.

You have an event and you want the world's best 'turn upper' to turn up for you, then Calum's your man.

I'm not sure what Kav was doing could really be called 'consoling', more 'yelping of incomplete platitudes'.

Callum may even genuinely believe he sorted Perez out and that everyone loves him for it. He thinks Perez is despised by the public and he received a load of sycophantic reassurances from Kav and Michelle later that he did nothing wrong.

Perez could set fire to a group of babies and I am sure people on here would be praising how he 'owned' them.

Perez is probably a contender for the asshole idiot world championship. But he's like some weird celebrity mirror in there who when people try to start on him, what tends to end up happening is that their own failings as people are reflected back to them.

What I've noticed is that other housemates call him names, thinking that if they call him an insulting enough name then they win. But they don't. They just reveal that they are what they accuse Perez of being. And that Perez doesn't really call people names, it's just something I've noticed that he doesn't tend to resort to like the others who attack him do.
I'm not saying that he never calls people names in there, for example suggesting that Katie H hoovers the floor with her nose probably counts, but that he never usually needs to resort to it.

You think Perez lost that argument? He sat there calmly eating spaghetti while an enraged Callum was hurling obscenities at him.

A big factor too is that they think Perez is despised by the public and that KH is absolutely adored. This probably explains a lot of the verbal attacks and name calling.

The way Calum kept looking for kudos from his mates was desperate

"You were perfect" soothed the ridiculous Michelle ... "and you didn't get angry" she continued ( liar )

Kav, in the meanwhile, was reassuring him that 'the public' would see that he ( Calum ) was one of the "most nicest, most gentlest, most real people in there"

Yes, it goes completely unnoticed that it was Calum who chose to start on Perez there and brought the argument to Perez, and not the other way around.
But the house will convince themselves that Perez was guilty of starting on Calum. As they always do.

I noticed that the HL show didn't show them both making up over it afterwards. There is a clip of that which was linked to from here yesterday.

Yes it's surprising how much Perez can actually take on the chin. Although at the time it must be hard. He is even keen on using self-deprecation in the middle of an attack on himself, which I think completely disarms his attacker.

Often you see people throw insults and names at him, and he'll say something like "I know, I know, that's me". Tonight he called himself an idiot and Michelle and Calum looked to be lost as to what to say next.
