Yes, good point. I've noticed that Katie and her little gang keep talking about the public and what the public will see.

I think that is very revealing indeed.
That they're not so much conscious of the moment they're directly involved in alone, but that they also have one eye on how things may be seen by the public. Which I think is a very interesting insight into how their minds are working.
Perez also does this at times, but the thing is that they accuse him of doing something which they are consciously doing themselves.

Not forgetting also that Perez didn't just lay into him. Perez gave Calum the opportunity of an opt-out clause.
That key point was where Perez calmly asked Calum if he wanted to hear what he thought of him. To which Calum replied "Go on then". Well there you go, Calum gave Perez full permission to speak his mind.
So naturally Perez duly obliged, and Calum didn't like what he heard, and it was then when Calum went all Captain Caveman on him.

Well put Calum did invite him to speak his mind.

I haven't thrown it in because he's under attack, but saying I hate him etc is fine.
To continue on and on about it is a little hollow and imo. boring.
I get it, you and others do not like him. However, becoming irrational about it and forcing the point isn't going to change my mind. Quite the opposite in fact. It's going to strengthen in.

It is they who are completely fascinated by him and beyond frustrated at his ability to not let their hostility toward him affect him too severely (even though I believe he has been upset by their treatment of him at times)
It is the other housemates who cannot bear to be ignored by Perez and his imperviousness to their taunting a lot of the time makes them feel unimportant.
This is what's driving them crazy.

Also thought what Callum said to him about having been his friend and having his back must have sounded like a real insult to Perez. It was the first he's probably heard that. Though he's astute enough to know that in Callum's view, Callum lowering himself to say Hello to someone is Callum being a 'friend'”

Excellent. Calum was literally floored when Perez calmly and politely answered the question. He described Calum to a tee.

It was perfect! Perez is an annoying little man, but he showed incredible insight and calm under pressure on a number of occasions last night. Also, his sprinkles of self deprecation completely disarm them. Fantastic show for Perez.

My favorite part was the way that Kav and Michelle followed him around afterwards licking his ass.

And yet again, the Mean Girls group gets thinks all askew.

Perez is awful because he said "I don't like you." Yet Calum can spew all kinds of hateful stuff, and there they are telling him how great he is.

Which he and his fans seem to enjoy mind, but lets not pretend it's 'truth' or noble in any way.”

Exactly...and when Perez is faced with someone saying that to him he says 'well it is in my world'.

Honey...that's a world I would not want to be part of...

Calum was great and if Perez were anywhere near self aware he would have seen how normal people react to the likes of him.

Everyone who was moaning about poor Perez being ostracised...go back and look at the show from last night - there is your answer. Act like an antisocial animal and get treated like one.

Oh, just out of curiosity...where was Katie H when all of this was happening? Kind of blows the theory out of the water that she's the reason for all of his woes in the house. Has Nadia found a way to make it her fault yet?

Katie H for the win!

Do you honestly think if Calum had said no Perez wouldn't have done just the same? Of course he would have because it's all about him.

Calum absolutely came out of this the bigger man of the two.

Not at all, Perez would have said good I am glad you don't like me, because I don't like you either. Calum would never have won this one. Perez at this point was playing by the rules.
Not saying that Perez might not lose his cool today or if he gets into the final between now and the final but I think he's been there done that with celebs, that's his job. That's what he's famous for.
He's still standing and so are all the HMs who have left the house this season and so will those who will leave one by one.

All about him? Did you see Calum pontificating. And not allowing any response as he delivered his speech?

Calum came off as looking like he thought it was all about him. Not looking like a bigger man.

No, actually I did not. I saw Calum trying to get his words in while Perez kept going on and on and on. The only reason Calum kept trying to stop responses as he responded to Perez was because Perez would not shut up.

Calum was spot on and Perez was his normal over the top vile self.

We have a massive difference of opinion and I'm good with that.

He may still be standing, but he's in the company of a few other recent HMs I've despaired over the actions of - Jim Davidson, Helen Wood, Gary Busey. He can win CBB, but it will never make him a decent human being.

Did you see what happened next and wasn't in the main show. Perez well and truly outs him as the two faced petulant liar he really is.

http://bigbrother.channel5.com/day-2...ologises-calum

This week three of them , Callum Kav and Michelle have said they have no personal problem with Perez.
They leave the room where he is because of what he's done to "everyone else"
5 of them in total have bullied Perez, that leaves two as the "everyone else", Hopkins and Cami. Keep digging the hole and obeying the boss, damned spineless idiots.

I'm beginning to hate the expression and see if as a sign of our increasingly dumbed down society. I'm forever reading on Facebook how someone 'owned' someone else by someone supposedly brilliant comeback only to find on reading the story the kind of repartee that only infant school kids would find clever or funny.

Calum doesn't seem to have confidence.
He loses his rag way too quick and thinks he's clever when really he's not.”

I agree. If only BB had bothered to show the fantastic aftermath.

Perez knows exactly what he's about.

Calum called Perez the C word. Where are all the threads asking imagine if he'd said that to a woman?

None of the people in there are decent human beings.
what makes a good person anyway?

Have you never owned a moment and made it your own beyond anyone elses input?

Really not liking Michelle. Fancy telling Calum he did nothing wrong tonight and the people on the outside will see that If that had been Perez use that word on Calum tonight all hell would have broken loose!”

Totally agree with you. PEREZ totally OWNED Callum and the rest of them.
