Callum, the professional reality 'star'.... lol

Isn't it funny how he's extremely concerned at "how he's coming across" to the voting public. You can see quite clearly that he gets easily agitated as it's not the first time he's almost blown a fuse.

He's even glad Cami has gone now so that he can 'shine' as he felt being around her was pulling him down a bit "I always had to make decisions for her etc". He's a sly little shite is that one. He knows exactly how to play the game, God knows he's been on enough reality shows to KNOW how to play it so that he stays relevant on the show longer.

I don't actually understand why he goes on at Perez for provoking people when his bezzie mate Katie H provokes people relentlessly and all he does when she's doing that is laughs, finds it funny and calls her a stirrer. He knows what he's doing and he's desperate to win, because up until now, he's only famous for (1) being a footballers son (2) dating a string of Z list women (3) participating on reality shows, and (4) having numerous hair transplants!

And with that great post in my mind, I shall take myself off to bed - content that some people can see what Calum is all about!

I fear, at the age he is now that he'll not have many more chances to be the 'playboy' that he thinks he is.

Being paid to do 'meet and greet' in clubs isnt going to pay the bills.

He's famous for being famous. Not much talent for anything else, can't act, sing or dance, can't be in a band or even model clothes. What else is he going to do? How utterly dispiriting to have to make your living showing up at nightclubs when you're nearly 40.

Maybe he's hoping something more will come from this, but I don't know what it could be.

You'll need a better argument than that to convince people.

I did laugh when he said that he likes to keep his private life private. He admitted to selling stories to the NOTW...

A glamour model who became pregnant with Calum Best’s child, had “an arrangement” with the News of the World to meet celebrities in nightclubs and pass on gossip to the paper, a court heard.

Lorna Hogan said she worked for the Supermodels Agency, which arranged for her to attend nightclubs and bars where celebrities frequented.

In 2005 she met Mr Best, 32, the son of legendary footballer George, and the pair began a brief relationship, which resulted in her falling pregnant and giving birth to a daughter.

Miss Hogan said at the time she was regularly passing information about showbusiness personalities she met to a News of the World journalist called Chris Tate.

She said: “My arrangement was if I was to meet any celebrities it was to get any gossip and to sell it to the newspaper.”

She went on: “I met Calum on numerous occasions over a couple of years and me and Calum Best got together for a short time and I fell pregnant and had a daughter to him.”

Miss Hogan said in 2005 after she became pregnant she was invited to London to meet with Ian Edmondson, the News of the World’s head of news.

She told the court: “I met Ian Edmondson, we had lunch and he put a lot of pressure on me to sell my story and sell the scan picture of my daughter.

At he time they wanted to know what the sex was and they told me not to talk to anyone else.”

Miss Hogan said she did give the News of the World a scan picture of the baby, but said she never received any money for it.

The News of the World later ran a story with the headline: “Best’s First Grandchild.”

After the baby was born she severed ties with the News of the World and began dealing with the Mirror.

Earlier, Calum Best told the court he sold stories to the News of the World about a nightclub liaison with Elizabeth Jagger.

The former model admitted he received £2,000 from the former Sunday tabloid, which published a story about the romp entitled, Calum Confesses.

Mr Best, 32, described himself as a "television personality" who had appeared in programmes such as "Celebrity Love Island".

He admitted that stories in the press about his private life "came with the territory".

He also admitted accepting £3,000 from the paper in December 2005 for a series of interviews he provided about the death of his father.

The jury in the phone hacking trial were told that Mr Best's voicemails were intercepted by Glenn Mulcaire who worked for the News of the World in 2005 and 2006.

Mr Best admitted he and his agents sometimes provided information to journalists on the paper in return for money.

But he denied he had received cash for a story headlined: "Calum: How Dad Drove Me To Drugs."

He said: "That came from a friend of Alex Best, who was my dad's wife."

He added: "It was me saying it to someone who then went on to give it to the newspaper without my approval."

Exactly, he's learnt how to behave and how not to behave on reality shows, hence why he was soooo worried about how he came across to the voting public tonight and needed reassurance from Michelle that he hadn't 'blown it'. Like you say, that's his line of work. Some people are still blinded by his muscular charms though lol

He reckons that Cami was dragging him down because he had to constantly defend her and make decisions for her.

What a patronising man. It even sounded sexist if he seriously meant that.

I think he meant it and was not rationalizing away his lack of emotion over her leaving.
