It's quite nice actually. It's easily the best song off the album imo too.
The backdrop reminds me of the Sade - Soldier Of Love video. I think it's inspired by that. Same with One Republic's Love Runs Out video. |

Mmm...I can almost taste the autotune it's been used that much on Cheryl's vocals.

Cheryl clearly uses autotune, but they are using a vocoder for effect on this too.
And the title's been ripped from a better tune and performance which I like and I'm not that into pop. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U1tYZCieeyI |

The irony is that the end result doesn't sound "human" at all.

I personally like the effect they are using, it suits the songs production imo.
And I am sure with the millions of songs written, many will share the same title, I highly doubt she 'ripped' anything. and George Harrison with "My Sweet Lord" didn't rip off the, "Chiffons "He's So Fine." I mean the Beatles didn't start out doing Motown covers did they, so, "he couldn't have heard it before," as he said. |

Therefore it has pretty much nothing in common with the song you posted. |

That's the point. The vocoder effect is there to show that 'irony'.

If you enjoyed it, then no one should criticise you. |
