It's quite nice actually. It's easily the best song off the album imo too.

The backdrop reminds me of the Sade - Soldier Of Love video. I think it's inspired by that. Same with One Republic's Love Runs Out video.

Mmm...I can almost taste the autotune it's been used that much on Cheryl's vocals.

Cheryl clearly uses autotune, but they are using a vocoder for effect on this too.

The irony is that the end result doesn't sound "human" at all.

And the title's been ripped from a better tune and performance which I like and I'm not that into pop.

I personally like the effect they are using, it suits the songs production imo.

And I am sure with the millions of songs written, many will share the same title, I highly doubt she 'ripped' anything.

You're entitled to that opinion.

and George Harrison with "My Sweet Lord" didn't rip off the, "Chiffons "He's So Fine."

I mean the Beatles didn't start out doing Motown covers did they, so, "he couldn't have heard it before," as he said.

That's the point. The vocoder effect is there to show that 'irony'.

Also if you listen to the song it's actually about a relationship and Cheryl is talking about the other person being only human - not herself. Therefore it has pretty much nothing in common with the song you posted.

Seems a bit desperate.

You mean you actually listened to the lyrics of the song?
Well, each to their own as I always say. If you enjoyed it, then no one should criticise you.
