Michelle Visage has spoken to Big Brother about yesterday’s insult Perez Hilton gave about her representing the LGBT community.

Following yesterday’s heated discussion with Perez about representing the LGBT community, Michelle tells Big Brother that Perez “said something to me last night to hurt me personally, to cut me…he was just trying to be mean and he wouldn’t own it.

“That’s bullsh*t. He meant to hurt me. That’s really what it comes down to. That’s not a good person.”

Can't believe Perez would attack Michelle like that... It's on National TV, so she kinda does have the biggest voice. Although Perez was correct about the 'community' thing.

She doesn't represent anyone but herself and her family.

If she is an elected representative for Gays and Lesbians where was the vote held?

Visage trying to make herself look even more ridiculous, without even realising it.

Insult?
Why add 'as well' at the end of the post. She isn't lgbt herself.

I'm insulted by her hijacking of the LGBT community for self promotion.

Such a patronising, self-serving person.

I think we have saw that she has very selective empathy. So her support will only extend where it suits her.

No thanks, Visage.

Hardly a good voice to have...pigeon holing gay people into how she thinks they should behave and using a gay man's sexuality to insult his behaviour. Claiming that she stands for equalities and for those that don't fit in, yet her actions in the house couldn't be further from that.

The voice that says ' I support the LGBT community, excluding Perez'.... as he doesn't fit her agenda.

He was correct to suggest she doesn't represent him especially as she has agreed she doesn't wish him to be included.

I think Perez was spot on. Who made her spokesperson? Is her title of "spokesperson" official or made up by herself? He called her out on it and she didn't like it one bit. Anyway, surely he was just "telling it like it is" and "to your face and not behind your back" like the mean girls in there are always saying they do?

Well if she is representing the LGBT community, she's rubbish at it. She can't even get along and be nice to a gay housemate! Lol

I agree, it not the best voice to have on National TV (nor her actions), but Perez has just been an entertaining embarrassment. - Then again, i wouldn't mind if Perez won on Friday.

Ouch, home truths hurt Michelle. Self serving, hypocritical, cowardly, sanctimonious, patronising, duplicitous bully. I think that's it for now.

When was the democratic process which elected her spokesperson of anything. It's a cash cow.

There is no such thing as the LGBT 'community'. Just tens of millions of very different people across the world with different politics, outlooks, financial situations, religions, and jobs who happen to sleep with people of the same sex or don't feel right with the sex they were born as. The thought that Perez or Michelle speak for all of them is comical!

PS speaking as a member of the 'left handed' and 'people of Celtic origin' community'!!

This! How dare she be so damned judgemental of anyone. She needs to learn how to behave properly herself. She's a disgrace.

I can understand it if she dislikes Perez, shes entitled to do that. What i dont understand us why bring his sexuality into it at all? If she thinks Perez is a nasty, gobsh&te fair enough, but to suggest he's taken the gay community back a step is ludicrous. Perez is who he is, a represtative of all of the human race, warts and all.

I don't like Perez but he was right in what he said to Michelle last night ,and she's just pissed off that he not only had the balls to say it to her face ,but because by doing so he has now put it out there into peoples consciousness

Own it Sick to death of this pathetic pseudo empowerment statement. Katie H uses it solely to dismiss people's views but in actuality it is a completely empty, meaningless statement. Suits the Queen of the Gays 'roll eyes' perfectly then.

Isn't it about time she owned the fact that she is merely using an LBGT agenda to get a win on a reality TV show and in order to pave the way to make money from other opportunities on British telly

Agreed. But there are LGBT festivals which try to actively involve such 'communities' like the PRIDE festivals.

I do feel they have a slight responsibility in the house though, seeing as it's on National TV. There are still people out there who have different views.

This is coming from someone who believes in this topic strongly - only ever good views. Since i have family members and friends who are gay - that i support and encourage.
