She keeps saying that she is the voice.

What is her message - what is she saying? Other than I am a voice for the community.

No-one seems to know or be able to find out.

Perhaps it's a state secret?

There are plenty of examples. What about white people who campaigned for black rights, or non disabled people campaigning for disabled rights. The list goes on and on, you are clearly just being obtuse to devalue my point.

Although she's given me lots of reasons to dislike her, I still don't see her as a deliberately nasty person. She puzzles me, more than anything else.

Kinda how I feel, I just use language apparently that gets me on a weeks forum holiday.

I have friends form all manner of sexual activities, I have friends of all shades, ages, I'm trying to think if I hang out with any ginger people though as I ramble and type I'm thinking and yes Craig, haven't seen in a while as he moved but I'm still friends on Facebook. I speak to people from other countries all the time.

I just don't understand why humans can't be friends with everyone and then I realise planet x380r's inhabitants didn't make us that way 2 million years ago.

Just be nice, or vengeful.

Ya know, I get why people are annoyed by Michelle saying these things. Genuine question though.

You're saying how can she decide that she is a spokesperson for the gay community... But how can you decide she isn't?

Michelle firmly placed Perez outside of the gay community, as if somehow she could decide that community would hate him from thenceforth , she isolated him as a gay man because he was 'rowdy', (pity she didnt see the bots drag queen edition) accusing him of 'undiong' all of those years hard work the gay community, and particularly her, had strived over. She is Michelle Martin Luther King Visage, he is just Perez, how dare he.

Yeah I noticed Michelle copying Katie recently by the things she says. She accused Katie Price of having no opinions in the diary room just like Hopkins said. But ironically it seems Michelle has no opinions of her own if she has to copy someone else's thoughts and opinions.

Well, speaking for myself - the reason I don't see her being a respectable spokesperson for the community is down to the fact she continually suggests Perez is bringing it into disrepute.

Now, I don't like Perez. I don't find his antics amusing in the slightest. I have repeatedly called him a bell-end on here and I think its a fitting description.

But the notion that someone acting like a bell-end in any way effects the GLB community is utterly ludicrous to me - it suggests that Michelle believes anyone in the public eye that happens to be gay has to be completely infallible. Which is of course a nonsense. I don't think you can realistically be a spokesperson for anything if that's the way you think.

Why are people slating Michelle so much?

If she is showing support for LGBT then that's a good thing.

And yes there is such a thing a LGBT community. This is why we have prides etc. We wouldn't need them if we lived in a world where everyone was equal and people weren't discriminated because of their sexual preference.

I've pondered this myself. The T-shirt and repeated proclamations about being a 'voice' would have been good back in the day when gay men and women were forced to hide away, when being a visible supporter made a difference.

But we've come a long way since then, people are openly living their lives, so she'd be a much better 'voice' if she was actually discussing the real issues the LGBTQ community faces like hate crime, unequal marriage rights, etc.

Back to the original topic...I don't think she was "hurt" by Perez's comments. I think she was embarrassed, because he exposed how empty and meaningless her stance has been in the house.

Yes and he dared to nominate St Michelle on Day 9. Such a kind forgiving soul, isn't she?

Oh dear.

Ignorance.

Yes, so things are easier things have changed, but things still aren't easy.

She can't stand him, she has absolutely no respect for his opinion, so why is she even remotely bothered by what he had to say to her yesterday? Was it Perez that hurt her or the fact that there was an element of truth in what he said?

She's a silly woman.

That seems to be her only message.
Of course apart from saying that Perez has thrown the gay community back by 40 years, and that gay people clap by clicking their fingers.

It's also a very safe country to proclaim that 'This country needs a voice'.

As a poster the other week said, a more appropriate arena to take the fight to would be to appear on some TV show in Russia, or various Middle Eastern countries and African countries.

Michelle: Behold gays, I am here.

The Gays: Hiya. Who are you again?

Michelle: Rejoice, for I am YOUR VOICE.

The Gays: oh great. What can more can we do to fight prejudice?

Michelle: Have you tried WEARING A T-SHIRT?

The Gays: Sure. Not all the time though that would be a bit naff. What about the situation in Russia? It's a bit scary how homophobia is so massively on the rise there. And what about gays in Iran being thrown off buildings?

Michelle: *clicks* This is clapping in the gay community.

The Gays: Seriously, really worried about Russia. We can't be complacent. The same thing could happen here given the right circumstances, couldn't it?

Michelle: Sure. Hey Katie, Alicia's soooooo stoopid isn't she LOL? OMG is that JAMES ARTHUR?!!!

She's the equivalent of a male feminist. Someone who seeks to shut down the very people they claim to represent by talking over them, rather than supporting them.

I loved it when Perez said that he didn't say anything wrong when he told Callum that he didn't like him as he was telling the truth and she said but it's hurtful to say that or WTTE.

I nearly choked on her hypocrisy there. Where was her voice on the many times KH said something hurtful?
