I wouldn't mind so much if it was just shown once at the beginning of the show. But it's during every break and it's excessive. No wonder why the HL's are so short these days with all this filler.
If that's the reason surely a ticker tape on the bottom of the screen saying it all the time, also if you are blind a person saying it over and over is OK also. |

Tell that to/ask the people who constantly make complaints.

Exactly.
Then even though warnings are given and made perfectly clear some will still watch and become offended. Makes no sense at all to me. ![]() It's now an 'edgey' show and it's seems all swear words are allowed.

The warnings are purely because of the complain to Ofcom about everything culture. I wouldn't be surprised if Ofcom had a hand in them. Now when someone complains "well you were warned". Makes life easier for them !!!

I think its something to do with the new owners. MTV do it with Ex on the beach, between every ad break. Does get annoying but if it stops ofcom complaints I can deal.

It's not really a warning as such, more like a bit of temptation titillation for the upcoming show.
In that regard it works very well, but I wouldn't take it too seriously as a warning. More like C5 making a passing attempt to please the regulator and sticking 2 fingers up at the same time.

Everyone complains too much now so we get molly coddled.
I remember them never giving warnings. When dolly entereted the house she said 'open the door you c***s" no one batted an eyelid. Was it bb6? |

All these warnings has done for me is make me realise how much it would take to offend me.
Nothing we've been warned about has upset me at all. |

Because BB viewers are whiny. They will moan over anything. A raised voice= bully. OFCOM again has gotten the most complaints from CBB this year than any other show on any channel. And now even with the warnings, people still complain.
OFCOM needs to release a statement saying, "BB viewers, do NOT contact us about the show ever again, unless your complaint falls under the television breach code". OFCOM is there for acts of physical violence and violent sexual behaviours and extreme behaviour. In BB, 98% of what is shown has been correct and not an OFCOM issue. |

The only thing that would offend us on here is the biased editing and no live feed.

It's a ratings winner. you lot love it if they spoonfeed you beforehand.
If you're sat at home, remote control in hand, wondering whether to watch the dross and you can't decide, then a fake warning about somebody saying "bloody" or "damn" will guarantee that you stay tuned. they're not stupid you know, the viewers on the otherhand are remarkably stupid. |

When the lovely Helen Wood won last year Channel 5 realised that episodes where they gave out a warning were the most watched. So now EVERY episode gets a warning. It's simple really. Just like the viewers that fall for it.
