Agreed. The word dull has many meanings, and Perez with the same act 24/7 was VERY boring.

Just watching some now - Keith is a bit of a **** actually. For someone who keeps saying he isn't in there to win it - he's in there for the experience - he's doing a bloody good job disguising it. He's cheering and dancing for joy with those other morons - and ALL of them except Pricey think he's a boring old **** and nominated him out!

I want Katie H to win now (actually felt a bit sorry for her there - she looked so mournful!!!)

As for Keith, his problem was Cami not having her moment with the crowd, whether that be cheers or boos. Instead she was just dragged out of the back door in her scruffs. So I don't think he was being a hypocrite.

And it was good to see them actually celebrate a housemate they don't like leaving, rather than the usual faking being upset. If I was in there, I'd be dancing around that he had gone too.”

Great post, I agree with all of it.

Good God if I'd had to live with him for almost 4 weeks I'd be celebrating - the relief must be enormous. Keith's point about their reaction to Cami leaving was completely different, and even if it wasn't, their joy is perfectly understandable.

Katie H's reaction was the strangest. I can only think it's because she has no story now that Perez has gone. She certainly can't be sad, she was still saying today that she hates the man.

I've never liked him. The happy go lucky ones are usually the horrible 2faced ones!

There's always some way for HMs to spin it, I suppose.

Yes, HMs often manage to be boring and irritating at the same time, though I don't thin any took it as far as Perez.

Keith is just going with the flow. Anything for an easy last two days.

This whole thread in general is just so funny as well as this board. A housemate does one good thing in the house and they're a saintly figure, perfect and should win. The next day that same housemate does one slightly lousy thing and their 'true colours' are showing and they're fake. It's black and white like Katie Hopkins. Absolutes.

You obviously haven't watched the clip. If you had, you'd see them very clearly celebrating Perez's eviction rather than being in the final.

They're all discussing it, someone says "I can't believe he's gone" or wtte, Keith then cheers loudly and hugs Calum. They then continue to discuss Perez's exit.

There's no ambiguity about it whatsoever.

I think all of them have been playing a game to a certain extent. I'll give Keith the benefit of the doubt on this one and just put it down to relief that hopefully the next few days will be relatively quiet without too much drama.

As for Katie, perhaps she is concerned that now the 'hate' figure is gone from the house that the others will turn on her and start to question her tactics? Michelle and Calum have already been bitching behind her back so it'll be interesting to see what goes on there over the next couple of days.

I'm hoping that's the explanation for Keith's reaction as well....that he's glad there'll be no more conflict or maybe he's just happy they're all happy? Although as I've said elsewhere, it does make his comments about their distasteful lack of concern for Cami seem a bit hollow.

Seems completely understandable and human to me that they are all mightily happy and relieved.

Being nice doesn't mean you have to be a saint. They were all happy that they were going to get some peace and quiet for the last couple of days. Perez was great viewing, but I doubt any of us could live with him in a confined space for any length of time. When someone sets out to be annoying you can hardly be surprised when people find him annoying.

You're right it will be interesting. The interest has largely revolved around the Hopkins and Perez dynamic with everything else being pretty much a sideshow. But I wouldn't give Chegwin any benefit of any doubt. He loathes the other housemates even more than he loathes himself, and now it's time for him to step over the others one by one, thinking he has it in the bag. I thought he just wanted to get home to his <cue tears> dear wife. As if. I can't see many people picking up the phone to vote him the winner. Not when he's stabbed Perez in the back. Perez supporters now only have Price to turn to.

I think Keith was just upset that Cami got evicted out of the back door with no crowd and she didn't get her moment. I don't think he was that upset that she got evicted, he just wanted her to have the whole big eviction night like everyone else had had I guess.

That being said, I don't think his reaction will do him any favours to be honest. If any Perez fans out there will still watch they might have been tempted to throw some votes his way to stop KH winning but if that is shown they would be more likely to stick some votes KP's way instead.

I can understand the reaction from most of them, even if I personally find it unpleasant (Keith, not so much).

But I was specifically responding to Veri's accusation that FMs are 'spinning' what happened. Her post was in response to someone who hadn't seen the clip suggesting they were just happy to be in the final. I was pointing out that this clearly wasn't what they were celebrating.

You can see it in his gnarled expression he is not a very nice person. He certainly does not like it if people around him are more interesting than he is (which is everyone). There's real nastiness in has-been Chegwin, hidden by an unconvincing veneer of corny jokiness.
