Did anyone else think that Perez made TOO much of a song and dance about going onto sleeping pills prescribed by a doctor?

Especially following the second time he mentioned it with "Opps..."

Given his constant requests for a lawyer, and now making it public knowledge that the experience was so traumatic he would have to take sleeping pills just to sleep at night, prescribed by a doctor - does anyone else think he may be building all this up to file some kind of court case or claim some kind of compensation due to BB allegedly altering his mental health?

I don't think the mental health checks pre-show are quite as consistent as they were with Channel 4, if at all existent - and I think that's evident in some of the terribly exploited HM's we see.

But surely Perez wouldn't have a leg to stand on legally? He could walk at ANY STAGE. Granted we've seen him asking to leave the house and BB apparently convincing him otherwise (we never got to see that bit); but it can't be too hard if you're "serious" about it - Alexander only had to visit the DR once!

If this experience was SO TRAUMATIC - why didn't Perez just leave? Surely his mental health and his "big heart" is worth more to him than a pay check?

Thoughts, opinions welcome as always.

Yeah he did.

I think mentioning the pills was just a way of trying to get people to buy his story that he was the victim.

Michelle? Do you think so? I don't spot things like this!!

Yeah he did.

Ah apologies I must have missed that through all the rantage I thought he was covering that he "accidentally mentioned" going to the doctor. Bless him for apologising for his bad language. Would he care to apologise for threatening to ram it up Calum? LOL!

Valium/Benzo's (sleeping pills) are sedating and make people docile and extremely calm. Most American celebs take them......with Perez though I think a higher dose was required!

He probably tired his brain out. To be that manic day in, day out must be extremely draining.

Is this correct? The celebs get sedated by a doctor if they're having a bad time?

So that's why they can be a bit boring. Not much fun watching sedated people.

It bumps up the value to his CBB story to the Sunday Press who will have been bidding to his agents the minute he was out.

Did you ever see the series with Heidi Fleiss? She seemed drugged up the whole time and stayed in bed sleeping.

Her brother died just days before the show:

Getting pills isn't the prerogative of celebs. E.g., Shell got a sleeping tablet the night before she got her degree result way back on BB5.

He needs to make up his mind. He has pills to sleep but he didn't sleep last night. He didn't sleep last night but he dreamt of being evicted.

They were probably herbal kalms. Production would never give him anything he could potentially fake a suicide attempt with.

I think any medication is administered a dose at a time and taken in the diary room.

if he had allowed calum to be his mate he could have taught him how to be a chilled out guy without any need for chemical sedation.
