Of course he doesn't need us to feel sorry for him. It's a question of how he was treated in the house and not letting Hopkins off the hook for her part in that, e.g. the 'isolate the bastard' and declaring that she will persecute him until he leaves. That BB did not issue her a warning about this bullying behaviour is surprising...or is it revealing, i.e. part of a fix?

The point is that the guy has really suffered and it is this that other, more compassionate FMs here have commented on.

He was a pain in the arse at first, but his madness grew on me, still a winner in my eyes.

Ha Yeah I get that. I didn't like him but his entertainment value cannot be overlooked. As Emma announced...he was one of the best HMs EVER!!

I hope you don't feel that I'm not compassionate, I didn't want it to sound as if I don't give a sh~t, and if you look at my posting history you will see that I am a die hard Perez supporter, he is the only reason I watched. But you must have seen how much depth and strength there is to his character in that he took all that crap in the house and refused to be destroyed by it. He will shrug this nonsense off and go back to his life and his 30 mil in the bank. And yes, within a week CBB will all have been forgotten

I'd say it's calling a spade a spade

Perez was an arsehole that went out of his way to annoy others, he wanted a reaction and got one
Bullying would be if he was perfectly innocent, minding his own business yet received hate anyway, like Alicia, but even then that wasn't too extreme
