Is it really that hard to believe? It was obvious they set up that secret room to keep him in. Now he's basically just confirmed it. What other things are they doing that we don't see?

I wouldn't trust anything that comes out of proven in the past liar Perez...he also he's glad he left when clearly he's gutted.

What is interesting is that when this happened, one minute Perez is throwing a fit in the Diary Room, the next thing he's in the lovely special room and exempt from nominations, lots of the people on here who dislike him were saying something fishy had gone on and BB had bowed down to Perez. The
was huge.Now he confirms that'... the same folk are saying he's lying about it.

And then threw him to the wolves on Bots he was treated badly on Bots Rylan was useless, Louisa was a disgrace, Jimmy was his normal nasty self, I'm interested to see KH and MV on bots to see how they are treated.

Exactly. And he's then saying stuff like "It's the Perez show!" and "The British public love me". Didn't realise he was quoting the production team at the time!

Not that I think there's anything wrong with the producers persuading him to stay. Their job is to make an interesting TV programme. What's the big deal?

Indeed. They did a deal with him to go back in and continue playing the star clown that some love to love and others love to hate. So he did. Probably agreeing to do it for a week max.
It also makes sense of him getting pissed off in the DR that he hadn't been evicted, and saying "I'm f-ing still in the f-ing Perez Show."
I don't know what everyone's getting in such a tizzy about. C'mon, we've all known for a few years now that this isn't really "reality" tv anymore, it's just a variant on crap like Geordie Shore and TOWIE, sadly

The reason we still watch it is because the drama and the emotions in there ARE real. They are not putting that on.
The fact that the producers wanted one of their most explosive characters to stay doesn't change anything in my book.

Thanks for the link Nesta. I didn't find it too revealing. It's actually the first time I have watched Loose Women since Denise Welch won as I went off her and the show at that time. I think the coughing incident showed him saying if you don't open the door I am going to start coughing so I already knew that. Not the bit about him being in the loo beforehand though. What's the point though if it's all planned and engineered before its even began? Anyone they want to stay they can just put in a secret room. Or immunity. Or a pass to the final. They've pretty blatantly fixed it this year and last year with Helen. Not the whole thing but elements of it to suit their agenda. Then we vote on whoever the production team allows us to. If they don't like the result they'll just change the rules.

He's always said he wanted to leave, they talked him out of it each time.
He has no reason to lie now he's out, also, sometimes the truth is harder to believe than a lie is.
Why do you think they put him in the secret room? and pretend he was evicted, that was all done to pacify him and to really keep him in.
