Kind of disappointed that Perez is out.

As a fan watching from another country, I was hoping that the UK's game plan was to leave him in there till the final.

I wanted to see all his dreams get shattered by being the runner up. Oh god it would have been wonderful.

Oh well, at least the remaining few get some sort of a break for a couple of days.

UK's game plan?!

I don't think UK BB viewers think that way

But generally in the UK people see being runner up as a good thing? So I don't really get how it would shatter his dreams?

I think you're overthinking it. If you wanted his dreams Of winning shattered, surely going out tonight, as he did, was best?

Or maybe I just don't get it as I think that number two is a perfectly respectable place to come in a competition (and oftentimes it's preferable as there's none of the pressure that comes with first place... quite a typical Brit attitude I believe )

I think it's the fact that Americans tend to see the runner up as being the "first loser" that makes me feel that way.

I know generally coming in second place on something as high profile and publicized as this is a really good place to be. I think just in his way of thinking it would have been a huge defeat for him. To have his hopes raised that much just to bring them down again.

I don't know, could have been interesting though.

I am too. But it doesn't really matter. The problem is if you start to take it too seriously and start to have high expectations.
People should know by now that when Helen won, winning this show is meaningless.

Ugh what a nasty, cold post. A Hopkins fans by any chance?

He wasn't evicted...he was released! I am delighted to see him so happy.

Emma told him he is one of the best HM they have ever had You didn't have to like him (and I didn't) to find him entertaining.

Not a Hopkins fan at all. Actually not much of a fan of any of them to be honest.
The remaining 5 are all relatively boring.

Best because he brought in the viewers, which is completely understandable.
