Twitter, Facebook and Youtube. These places are home to the worst kind of comments on the Internet and Big Brother works through all 3 of them. Social media hasn't just ruined Big Brother, it is ruining people in general.
i kind of agree with that i think Sega.
my theory has been for a few years now, that people get used to being abusive and inhumane online in their anonymous persona, then it seeps into real life and they behave in the same manner there.

It honestly makes me worried about the future of the human race when you read some of the vile stuff on Twitter, vile stuff mixed in with ridiculous 'text' speak which is like a different language.

I'm only 36 but i feel like a dinosaur at times. I'm so glad that i was old enough to never get involved with all this social media shite though, its some serious de-evolving shit.

Joni,
They were and they've gone, sadly.

We used to have fun and gentle chiding. Maybe a little more...

I'm now very old and grumpy but I still have common sense (hopefully).

Hopkins has used this purely to reintegrate herself back into the mainstream as some of her comments before she went in were way beyond the pale (I'm sure she used the sweaty Ebola Jocks and dead Glaswegian throwaway lines to entrench her position). As for the others, they are probably nice enough types with an earning to talent ratio far higher that they would ever have expected in their wildest dreams.

I'm only glad that there wasn't a BB1940. Hitler would probably not have won but could have made the last 5.

There's lots of friendly banter and humour on social media, but unfortunately the cranks and angry misfits also have a platform for their 'views'.

It was cos we had WHATM, we could all interact more productively and chide each other, things passed and we got on, but now posts are more raw in isolation without the banter.

I honestly find her awful and can't stand by any of her actions.
You've just Godwined the thread!

Well i'm only 25 mate, think how i feel

I agree, it is worrying. I see people who i used to go to school with and people the same age as me on places like Twitter and i just think that these people are mad. I was no smart kid in school i can tell you that, but i feel like as a human being i have progressed more than people who were considered to be a lot smarter than me.

It does feel strange to not be like everyone else of my age i can tell you that
