even if the "show" fixed it so the entertainment didnt die out with weeks to go (it is a SHOW remember) what harm did it do! he still didnt make the final... yet he will be in every single days show (as he will be "still be in the house" in todays highlights and of course he will be at the final...

some people read too much into a show they clearly do not understand what it is about - and all they do is tell the world they never have

I'm sure the self absorbed little **** has extravigated the extent of the "begging" though i doubt he is even aware of it. He doesn't have the best grasp on reality as he can't see the forest for the ME ME ME.

That being said..I can't for the life of me see why this is a big deal. Housemates who threaten to walk are ALWAYS counseled to stay. In the past people have busted out the emergency exit, been talked into staying, and returned to the house

In Perez case it was obvious at the time that they were placating him by giving him the absurd Secret Room task without any public vote or decision by the house. That was far more offensive then the thought of some producer using Perez own over inflated ego and delusion of self importance to manipulate the twerp into staying.

In the end..all it does is reinforce my opinion of self promoting arrogant little twerp .. that despite being "traumatized" by an event "worse then the death of his father" or "like those diagnosed with AIDS in the 80s" .. he could be talked into staying by appealing to his desire for attention and stoking his ego a little.

Exactly.

Every eviction night this series it's been the same male voice instigating the "Get Perez Out" chants too. Either an absolute sad case or a plant. Maybe both.

Nothing is left to chance. TV in general is very controlled but BB is more contrived and fake than any of the soaps.

I agree. Rylan leaving to rehearse for the X Factor Tour or whatever it was too. Also, I don't know what came of this story http://www.dailymail.co.uk/tvshowbiz...am-Faiers.html but there is so much obvious manipulation of the format now - to keep certain HMs in (not just with this series) or to force the "storyline" in a favoured direction - that what Perez said on BOTS wasn't surprising at all.

I suppose this is why we have little/no live feed any more; it would be far too revealing of what's actually happening in there.

I think you are forgetting why Perez asked to leave.

BB had engineered a task to cause trouble in an already highly charged house. BB deliberately showed the HMs a tweet that they knew willfully misrepresented what Perez had said before he came on the show in an attempt to drive a wedge between him and his only friend in the house Nadia.

I think he was well within his rights to ask to leave.

BB ALWAYS stirs...He wasn't treated worse then many housemates..past or current....and i can't see WHY he wanted to leave has anything to do with..

Put yourselves in the shoes of a Big Brother producer. You would say exactly the same thing. I've got no qualms about it, nice for it to come out though.

Funniest part of the whole series,a man who claimed to know how the producers think, how the media works and who has been at the hub of circulating half truths and idle gossip for years and reveling in it....made to look like a complete self obsessed insecure idiot,by one tweet.

And then of course the producers panic that thier karma treatment has backfired and give in to the whining fool.. typical, but funny.

So the producers convinced Perez to stay after he said he wanted to leave. They've been doing that for years right back to the channel 4 days.

I don't think people are that bothered by the fact that the producers told him that to convince him to stay.

But he was acting like a dick and then someone tells him that the public are loving it and it's the Perez show etc. So he continues acting like that thinking he is pleasing people. When actually it's just stirring up more hate towards him on the outside.

It also makes it obvious that they gave him the secret room to keep him in which is totally unfair and makes the show pointless.

They could have let him be nominated and evicted that week.”

yes I agree that the show was getting the highest ratings but it was for all the wrong reasons and it seemed like they were trying to turn that around. Look at the number of negative posts about him on this forum and all the negative tweets he's created by his behaviour. Good for viewing figures for this year for sure but not good for the longevity of the show.

oooo i missed that Eliza
I agree with you about the live feed, the live feed was still manipulatable but at least you got a better idea of what was going on best example of which is funtime carole v stfu carole.....still i will thank the editors for never inflicting that bloody nanna nonsense on the wider viewership

Perez manages to expose everyone including BB. He is very honest and even gave Ryland a way out but Ryland was too stupid to take it when Perez said "do you really want me to say". Remember, Perez has a long history of exposing people and at least this wasn't malicious. We all KNOW BB manipulates and it seems like a good business decision so of course it is true.
I'm sure BB, well its parent company, will put a spin on it…that's what always happens

I don't quite understand how there seems to be a divide of opinions that correlate to liking and disliking Perez I for one liked Perez, but I hate the desperation/manipulation that one or many persons behind the scenes obviously showed in order to make sure they kept their "prized asset". There should be no protection or special treatment for anybody. If the morons want to vote off the best HMs early on then let them. It just means the show will finish early for some of us..as we let the morons watch the borefest they created for however long is left...
