I agree. She is one vile human being. She would have been no where if it wasnt for him. Perez on the other hand would still have shone. I happen to think he is funny and I suspect his early years when he was fat and bullied have made him over react now to the attacks he gets.

It's called whataboutery. It's absolutely pointless to constantly state 'Ah, yes, well he/she might be an absolute nightmare, but what about ...(insert chosen comparison.)

All it does is cloud the issue. If people feel strongly about what ANOTHER individual is doing, start a thread about them. There have been numerous threads this year purporting to be about Perez, when in actual fact, they have simply been a vehicle to slag off KH.

I've no problem with anyone slagging off KP. I just think a little more honesty would be nice.

I think you are confusing the first task with her ongoing behaviour ever since. Or do you imagine she has been a nice quiet kindly person for the most part?

However I heard Cheggars was in this one and thought he s nice , I might watch....never expecting a Perez... so I was hooked..but thats it.... Yes, I've just no interest to see any more....Calum has had his row - he'll just sit around and look pretty now, being the 'dude' that he is. Michelle (having had enough info now to realise backing up Katie H's nasty behaviour may not be such a good look after all) will pretend to be a kindly mum of the house, become Katie P's best friend (and she'll get away with it, since none of the childish, ostracising behaviour towards her will be shown) and I'm sure Katie H will have some kind words and a few tears and everyone will declare that she's just an honest lady with a heart of gold - even though her behaviour in the last three weeks has shown her to be anything but.

Horrible behaviour from inside the house as well as outside it in the studio, combined with biased manipulation from the producers has annoyed me, but I'm not tuning in mostly because I don't think it will be good viewing. Just feel such a muppet for wasting so much of my time on the show....live and learn, just like Nadia and Perez

There is absolutely no clouding of this issue. WHATABOUTERY is a term used quite a lot in the arena of politics especially in N Ireland to avoid condoning the certain behaviour of a certain section of the community, it is also highly hypocritical to do so. I on the other hand did not name any certain individuals or claim to support anyone but mainly pointed out the hypocrisy of certain posters who did. You where the one who stated that doing this was NOT hypocritical? That is up to you to explain rather than bringing up a term that backs up hypocrisy. As for the honesty aspect I think it's all to clear from certain people's posts where their loyalties are however misguided I may think they are from a heavily edited game show.

Been mentioned several times before over the years but worth another look.

Quote:
“-George Orwell, 1984.

Hate Week is an event in George Orwell's novel Nineteen Eighty-Four, designed to increase the hatred for the current enemy of the Party, as much as possible, whichever of the two opposing superstates that may be. During one particular Hate Week, Oceania switched allies, though the disruption was minimal: the posters against the previous enemy were deemed to be "sabotage" of Hate Week conducted by Emmanuel Goldstein and his supporters, summarily torn down by the crowd, and quickly replaced with propaganda against the new enemy, thus demonstrating the ease with which the Party directs the hatred of its members. This ease of direction could also be partially attributed to the similarity in the terms "Eastasia" and "Eurasia" because of the fact that they are more easily confused. All members of Oceania must show appropriate enthusiasm during Hate Week as well as the Two Minutes Hate, ensuring that they are very against the opposing party and still very much allied with Big Brother.

...The aggregate effect of Hate Week thus is to excite the populace to such a point that they "would unquestionably have torn [the subject of Hate Week] to pieces" if given the opportunity.”

Sound familiar?

I can say this is a very strong possibility, as I was bullied at school and still all these years later I do over react to very minor negative comments all the time. I can totally understand why he's snapped at some of them in there, even over little things. That's why I feel even more sorry for him with all the boos and crap he's been getting. Completely OTT and undeserved.

He was treated to terrible homophobic comments and no one stopped to help him even on here people bayed he deserved it ! No one deserves it. I am not saying he was an angel, far from it but the OTT reactions to him were worse IMO”

Direct answer: I saw Perez as a winner of the show and tuned in to watch and laugh WITH him and not at him.

As for mentioning another hm, constitutes starting another thread is neither here nor there, it's all opinion. This is a BB forum not politics or general where ''Link" is demanded, so anything goes if it helps the poster to articulate their point.

...and there are a few clips knocking around from chan 5, that put a different slant on KH and the rest left, of an ongoing campaign, while BB showing only Perez's reaction to it.

Such is brain-washing.

Couldn't have put it any better myself. The things i have seen and heard said about Perez and to him including death threats are shocking to say the least, nothing i can think of or that anyone can explain to justify the hatred all over DS.

He got off very lightly indeed. I think by the end, his antics had just become tiresome and people couldn't muster the energy to give him a hard time.
