I haven't seen the footage of what he said but will tonight - however, Perez is a wind up merchant with a victim complex every situation he was in in the house was someone elses fault in his head. He was constantly twisting situations.

So I will watch the interview but know who it is saying the words.

And by the way - BB have always manipulated the house - its the point of the show!

Yes, they very much need him to "play nicely" because if he chooses to he could become The Man Who Brought Down Big Brother.

As for people going on about the fee, suppose he lost it. His accountants would zero out any real loss by balancing it against loss of other earnings during that period, expenses incurred outside the contract etc.

Rylan really is f**king useless on this show. He is getting worse and worse.... And now theres no Emma ”

Rylan (like all presenters) wears an earpiece. If the production team had wanted him to stop they would have made that perfectly clear. So either he wilfully ignored the instructions he was getting from the gallery or they were quite happy for him to continue with his controversial line of question.

I totally agree.....Not one person on that Botts programme picked the slimeball up on his treatment to Alex.....Have they all forgotten how such a lovely guy felt he HAD to leave the show because of him !!

Oh thanx, getting the picture now. I'd gathered he was some sort of defender or promoter of that awful woman.

Why is everyone surprised what Perez said last nite, we all said that was the reason why they gave Perez the secret room task to keep him in the house.

This is no longer Big Brother, just another scripted reality show ..... The Real Big Brother died years ago.

I do think that with Perez coming relentlessly at you and the earpiece going off the scale against boos in the background it is possible any of us would have lost the plot for a few seconds and gone into brain blank.

Whilst I think about it - Perez could have left at any time - no one was forcing him to stay - that would be called wrongfull imprisonment and is illegal.

So if he was so miserable why stay? Why be persuaded to stay if its such a torment? - it just doesn't ring true - much like his change of tack through the show
"I cant leave I wont get paid" - to "I don't need the money"
He says what he wants to get what he wants from a situation.

How is it even an issue? The days of the world being horrified because someone tried to manipulate nominations by writing on slips of paper died along with BB1. There have always been psychologists, doctors, dentists etc., that housemates may need to see.

The main aim of Channel 5 is to put on an entertainment show, to that end they will cast housemates in assigned roles. I'm pretty sure there have been other times when production team members have been seen by Housemates - one house flooded I believe and another was evacuated because of a security alert.

They knew who they were booking with Perez and a controversial coming out will have been part of that. It will give them a bit more publicity - so what if he was persuaded to stay - they have done nothing wrong.

As for BOTS Luisa in particular was out of order - in order to have a good interview regardless of personal feelings there needs to be a least a basic level of rapport or you will just close down the person being interviewed. I thought Rylan was generally OK in what must have been quite a difficult show. what I would say is that they seemed very unprepared for Perez being evicted last night.

he was mischievous and slightly provocative, but not evil, alex was confrontational and quite scary before he left, so i dont know where this big hooha about how 'perez treated alex' comes from, he was a grown man, if he couldnt take a bit of ribbing he should never have gone into the house, he didnt HAVE to leave the show, he CHOSE to

Fair point Marg. It is certainly possible that the gallery lost touch with him.

Yes, such a lovely guy. Such a lovely homophobic guy. Such a lovely homophobic guy given to glowering across a room. Such a lovely homophobic guy given to glowering across a room who made such lovely implications about violence being acceptable should one be terrorised by a man saying and doing nothing in a dress.

They didn't bring up his treatment of Alex because then they'd have to address Alex's attitude towards Perez.

Channel 5 will try to cover this all up but thankfully/ hopefully a lot of people FINALLY realized just how manipulated and fake this show is after what happened last night.
Many people have known for years now (lets be honest here, its not like they try to hide it most of the time) but there still seems to be a few that hold on to the hope that its all real, just like some wrestling fans.

Of course not, they will probably say that they asked him to consider it carefully as they do with any HM that want to leave.

I'm not a Perez fan ..But i agree with everything else you said

I'm more baffled that people still believe this show is real ,and none of what you posted goes on

It was very shocking who the hell does Luisa Zissman (whatever her name is) think she is - she was so rude I am surprised she wasn't taken off the show. Absolutely disgusting the way Perez was treated.

Two subsets of the Believers, I think.
The first are some long time fans who need to hold on to an ideal, The Show is (probably) too big a part of their lives, but having made the commitment, they stick with it while posting hopeful 'Back to Basics' appeals. A bit like religious folk who find comfort in their faith.
The second set are newer, younger, and easily swayed. They get over-excited in having a cause and are blindly fervent (so OTT they are most likely to pick up bans here). You could probably get them to vote on TOWIE if the producers told them they could influence the storylines by spending money on their faves.

The funny thing about all this is that Perez is a multi millionaire and doesn't need to keep on board with the producers. He can say whatever he likes and they have no way of gagging him or buying him off.
