It's the Perez Show. People keep arriving to moan about it and then other people answer.

It's because they tried to hide it from us. I think people are just tired of Big Brother constantly keeping things from us. They have lost the viewers trust.

I don't find fault with the producers trying to persuade Perez to stay on the show, I mean they will do that to anyone who wants to leave, so why do they want to make a statement about it...probably to attack Perez again.

I think it was disgusting the way he was treated on exit. Perez was a dream to pull in viewers yet they treated him like a rabid dog when he exited. Who are these people? Not content until they make sure that the star of their show (like him or loathe him), has been emotionally destroyed by them on exit...just because they can! And Rylan's obvious nasty bias was really unprofessional. He acted like a petulant child. I knew Rylan would act like that toward him though as he made his dislike of him obvious on the BBOTS show. Rylan's celebrity status has gone to his head. He's just another version of Perez anyway, such an attention seeker. (Think of the carry on re throwing himself to the floor when he got through on X Factor....that was all an act). He will be all over Katy Hopkins of course, celebrating her and giving her an easy ride, because I think he is networking to become friends with whom he sees are more powerful celebrities. He's such a coward.! I loathe him now.

Yes but to be fair, we have known for a long long time that they only show us what they want us to see. Nothing new. Hardly a surprise.

Well said. It was just horrible. and I thoroughly agree about Rylan, his behaviour last evening was one of the most unprofessional I have ever witnessed...a real low for an even lower show.

Louisa shamed herself. She reacted towards Perez as if his behaviour was a personal affront - even refusing to shake hands with him. A complete lack of professionalism

No doubt, they will be toadying over KH - who, IMO, was far more spiteful

Luissa was brilliant , she put the vile bastard in his box and hopefully he will be shipped back to New York to be forgotten for ever.

Emotionally destroyed ? ..... Perez? ...... That bloke was damaged goods well before he went in there . He is completely manipulative in every way and you have been taken in by him, hook line and sinker. Truth is, none of it played out as he had hoped. None of it went his way and his reaction has been that of a spoilt brat child.

Not unless someone puts the thumbscrews on them. The show relies on people believing tripe and, to be fair, you can tell on here that enough do.

It isn't really hard to see what has happened.

He has had a strop in diary room, asked to leave, insisted on leaving and the normal placating voice of BB was clearly not enough.
Perez said "he came up and spoke to me" .... i.e. - a face to face encounter with a producer who has basically took him aside and said "look, you can leave if you want but this is the best series of BB in year, massive viewing figures and everyone is talking about YOU. It IS The Perez Show, you would be crazy to walk away".
So he stayed. Yes they didn't FORCE him to stay, but they made it seem to him that he would be blowing something big if he left. They did it for their ratings. They alluded to his popularity to keep him in, and it is very wrong.
That is a step beyond the usual convo's in the diary room where they try to say "don't you think you will regret leaving if you go?".

Not to mention the fact Cami-li apparently got a warning for threatening to slit Perez's throat! We weren't shown any of that were we?

IMO Channel 5 created a monster this year. They threw in known assh***s in order to make a huge assh**e stew! One gets booted for groping, another for being a racist sexist pig, the paper's were slagging them off so when Alex basically was going off on one in a very homophobic direction, rather than face more outrage in the press, they offered him a way out. I still refuse to believe there is any legitimate reason for Alex walking upstairs and none of his conversation being played to the public. Very dodgy indeed. Clearly the Cami warning was in the same face-saving vein.
No longer are we getting a true representation of the BB "experiment". It has become a victim of its own success, and is a farce.

Perez never apologised for his behaviour when he got warnings over it. Even Helen Wood who I absolutely could not stand and Perez doesn't even come close, apologised at those points. And if Perez hated it so much he could have easily walked, especially if he didn't needed the money. I'm not convinced by any of the posts saying that the show used or took advantage of Perez. Surely out of anyone he knows how the media and reality tv shows work.

But they showed that because that's all they did. But there's a big difference between trying to get an housemate to stay and offering them special treatment in return and letting their investments dictate Big Brother.

Obviously that's what happened with the room otherwise why not show Perez threatening to leave like they did with Sayer?

And why no showing of Alexander leaving???? The luverly thing about transparency is just how opaque it can be..................................

Exactly! I can't believe that viewers here have been taken in by Perez's allegation that C5 wouldn't let him leave, and told him it was the Perez show. If any of you have followed the show you'll have noticed that he told lie after lie, changed his story by the minute, acted out so many roles that (he hoped) the HMs and viewers would never know when he was telling the truth or not. His post-eviction claim is not at all borne out by anything we've seen in the house at any time. Possibly he's delusional and doesn't even know what really happened. At best he is an unreliable witness.

At no point did Perez allege the producers wouldn't let him leave, which is interesting because it's the only thing they've denied. Everything that Perez claimed remains unchallenged for very good reason, because it is obviously the truth.

Did you see the bit where they told him the ratings were the highest they'd been and it was The Perez Show? I don't remember that bit being broadcast

The thought of Rylan presenting BBOTS every night. For three months in the summer is horrendous,he talks about himself and is just as silly as Emma was.
