I have to agree with you he lied a lot. Especially when he came out of that room and said what he had heard,which was not always the truth.

2. Issue a statement that doesn't deal with the issue. ✓
3. Know that enough viewers, because of inability to spot, or HM bias, will decide "Well that's that answered then. ✓

They can't leave the bedroom during the night like they used to. They just ignored him. he told them he would start coughing in the bedroom if they wouldn't let him come to the diary room. They ignored him. It wasn't directed at Alexander.This is the problem with no live feed.

The reason people don't like him (IMO) is because he's loud and has a more intense, manic energy than a "normal" person. This makes people feel on edge. So I can understand the people in the house being exhausted merely by being in his presence, the viewers, not so much.

Yes, I did get the feeling that he was being fed questions right up until the moment when he said "why don't you leave now?" or words to that effect. At that point it seemed the studio and Rylan weren't sure how to proceed. But as you say, they would've been able to ask him to change direction at any time. I look forward to the statement in the meantime.

Don't know why BB bothered to issue that statement. It says absolutely nothing of any interest or value. Perhaps they just think we're daft enough to believe it means they didn't persuade Perez to stay. In any case, what if they did? Does anyone actually care?

I think the reason people care is because of how he's been treated on BOTS and that. The shows hosts saying "well why didn't you just leave" . They know why, and now we do too.

It was in blind gossips over the last 2 weeks about how fake the show is, and that people would out it.

Perez went through three weeks of CBB and as he said, he'd gone through too much to walk away from the money whether he needed it or not. Even if the producers talked to him about staying it was always his choice in the end. The statement from BB adds nothing to the situation. In fact it creates more questions.

Both the eviction interview and BBBOTs with Perez were disastrous. Neither Emma nor Rylan could handle it and the panel were in the main, terrible.

Just that somebody from production, which - of course - all the staff at BB are , persuaded him to stay when he threatened to leave. He seems to think that makes him special when, really, it makes him just another housemate who asked to leave and was persuaded not to!


Why should they deny it - it's not the first time a housemate's been persuaded to stay!


What is there to address, they persuaded him to stay. As has been pointed out many times on this thread (with regard to Alex leaving), housemates are free to leave - or not - it's their choice. Had he really, truly wanted to leave, Perez would have left.

Artie I agree with you but they didn't have to act like "oh we're gonna get you with this..." When the production team were as we have said, in on talking him into staying.
They knew this, so they didn't have a leg to stand in with that point. IF the production. Team had said "go in then...**** off" and Perez had suddenly had a change of heart, I'd say ok.
