My advice? Watch the series from the start, and when the part in your brain clicks that his behaviour was not acceptable, rewind and watch it again, eventually your brain will click a second time and you'll realise that when you behave in this way there WILL be consequences, people are entitled to, and WILL hold it against you!
If you are very lucky, people may give you another chance in the future, but you have to accept that this will be on their terms, you can't expect easing up being a ****tard to be like flicking a switch.
