How to respond to "What did Perez do wrong???" posts
scratchy23
05-02-2015
Why are so many people pro-Perez on this forum? I often think that people on here support the underdog or the unpopular characters purely for the sake of doing so, in a hope to be different/controversial etc.

How anyone can like Perez or appreciate what he's brought to the show is just beyond me. Here's a few reasons why i hate him, and I'm sure many people will agree:

- His incredible fakeness on the opening night greeting everyone with a "omg hiiii how lovely to meet youuuuuu" in a really afflicted way
- Making himself the victim in EVERY situation even if it had nothing to do with him
- Playing up to the cameras in the most obscene ways, need I remind you all of him humping the windows in his pants pretending to orgasm?
- Making the absolutely HIDEOUS comment about the house being 'cancer free' after Ken left
- His comment Calum about sticking his dick up his ass
- Pulling out the "homophobia" card on Katie and Ken despite NOTHING about either situation being homophobic
- Winding up Alexander for no reason, coughing by his bed at 6am incessantly disturbing his sleep (bearing in mind Alexander is a 61 year old man and had done nothing to offend Perez at this point), eventually leading Alexander to walk out
- Making himself the centre of attention in any given situation, Katie H's first nomination summed this up brilliantly - "anything that happens, PEREZ HAS GOT TO BE THERE etc"

What else can be added to this list?

Simple....He was great entertainment. In my opinion anyway.

In a way it's a shame he never went earlier and then the others could have been seen for the dullards they mainly are no matter how deluded some of them be..........................

These are valid reasons to HATE someone, in your opinion? I mean HATE?

You HATE him? HATE? I do not see on your list that he kills children or robs old people of their savings or is a war criminal or microwaves kittens. And you HATE him? The same hate you feel for terrorists? More HATE or less HATE?

I wonder how you feel about real killers. Do you HATE them too? Hate them more? Or HATE them less? Or HATE them the same as a character on a TV show?

Okay......... alright...... (quietly backs out towards the door and leaves the room)

"Coughing by his bed"..... you could not make it up,

Simple. I like him because of his loud, honest, free child behaviour and wilful sense of playfulness.

I like him because he outed peoples game plans, he let no-one rest from his indomitable sense of who he is.

I like him because he showed a caring nature and sensitivity to others feelings (mainly those he liked).

I like him because he chose the most real people as his friends, which says a lot of his character.

I like him because he saw through Katie Hopkins and Michelle.

I like him because he went through the mill in there, but is still smiling.

I like him because he stuck two fingers up to conformity and showed the world how to express yourself freely and without censor.

I could go on, but I liked him from the beginning. He is larger than life and the faux outrage aimed at him for various reasons both in and out of the house is so ridiculous as to be scorned.

Perez is great!

Did you watch that episode? He may as well have stood next to him and blown an air horn against his head til he woke up. It was completely unnecessary and so disrespectful to anyone, let alone a 61 year old!

You're literally boring me. I quite clearly meant 'hate' in a figurative sense, not in the sense that I dislike him as much as I dislike rapists and murderers. Just shut up. If you said 'I love Perez' I wouldn't be like OMG YOU LOVE HIM?? YOU WANT TO MARRY HIM?? YOU HAVE A NEVER ENDING UNCONDITIONAL ADORATION FOR HIM?? OMG YOU'RE SO RIDICULOUS

Big Brother was refusing to let him out of the bedroom and up to the diary room, even though they assure HMs that they will always be there for them. Eventually, having begged to be allowed out and warning them what he would do if they didn't open the door, he had to resort to coughing until they let him out. Big Brother knew what was happening and obviously thought it would be entertaining to allow him to do so.

Did you mean "affected"? Is Perez the first enthusiastically camp man to behave like that? Do you hate them all?

He didn't do that. He did get involved in many situations that had nothing to do with him, apart from being in the same small space as him, on a TV show where everyone involved had an agenda, which he often succeeded in highlighting.

Even if you didn't find that funny (I did and I really didn't want to, in fact it was the moment when I really got what he was up to, ridiculing their bitchfest which he'd apparently started just by walking through the room) - the "most obscene ways"? Nah.

You have half a point there. Ken was, though, very deliberately being as foul as he could. What's a very nasty thing? Cancer is.

Big deal. Why Calum couldn't laugh that off is anyone's guess, but then he flipped a bit at Cami critiquing his shoes, so.

I think wherever Perez saw some homophobia, there was some. Two old men and a weird little Thatcher-girl.

See above.

You already did that one really.

Now what I've done there is, I've answered you point for point. You may disagree, but I've engaged with you and offered much more than anyone's managed to offer in any "List Perez's nastiness" thread.

Did you watch Loose Women? That was his spin on the coughing incident after some consideration! And why did he cough right by Alex? And then continue to bait him until Alex was forced to leave?
There are none so blind as those who won't see!
He's very good at putting the best spin possible on his behaviour. And clearly persuades many to believe him!

Yes, I did.

It's the first time I've heard a sensible explanation for his behaviour and he was standing near the door that he wanted open, which happened to be where Alex was sleeping. I'm not excusing his behaviour, but it now makes sense and we know that BB wanted it to happen. Not sure why that makes me the blind one.

You can list all these faults in Perez, but the truth is you could list the same number (if not more) faults in Michelle, Katie H and many other housemates.

Just accept that people like Perez for whatever reason.

Even though Perez behaved like a childish idiot at times, I fully agree with you on that. He had me in stitches at times.
