Who is he trying to kid?

He only started saying he wanted to go home after he was booed by the public. It was the same night Katie Price entered the house.

Up to that point he'd been telling anyone who would listen that the British public will love him and that everyone knows he will be in the final.

The same goes for his vile sidekick Nadia. She only started saying she wants to go home after being booed that night.

I don't think he was trying to 'kid' anyone he told them in BB he wanted to go and they said he could not leave he said so on BOTS when Rylan insisted who it vwas that said it to him.

I don't believe one word said by that pair.

Only because he was booed and realised the public didn't like him. This was his way of coping with the rejection.

Do you not remember his sheer arrogance in the first couple of weeks when he was telling everyone the public would love him and that he was going to the final?

Suddenly he gets booed and starts saying he want to go home. He didn't actually want to go. He just couldn't handle the rejection and this was his coping mechanism -- pretending he wants to go.

If he really wanted to go he could have walked. Nobody could have stopped him, regardless of his claims.

Yep, you look back the ones most desperate to win ALWAYS claim they wanted to leave.

I am sure they even believe it themselves.

No, he just couldn't handle the rejection and this was his way of coping. He was pretending that he didn't care what the public thought of him but in reality he cared more than anyone else in the house.

How do we know this?

Because for the first two weeks he wouldn't shut up about how much the public love him and that everyone knew he was going to the final.

He stayed because he hoped he could win over the public. He never wanted to go. He was DESPERATE to be loved.

Absolutely correct. We've seen it all before!

Why would anyone want to stay after they've been booed? I know if everyone booed me I would most likely want to get out of there as quickly as possible.

What, even Patsy?

He thought he had the game sussed but as soon as he heard the boos he was snivelling in the corner with ear plugs in. He realised then, he wasn't going to win so decided to play the I want to leave card to save face. That guy never wanted to leave, he was so desperate to be liked and to win. After all he had put in so much effort, said he had watched every big brother as preparation and had researched every housemate and their partners

He did want to stay, he did want to win but once he heard the "get Perez out" chants and the loud boos, he probably did think he's never going to win this so why stay in a house where he is hated and attacked by Katie H and her minions 24/7.

He obviously only wanted to go after he realised that he was not liked by the public (or at least by those at the eviction shows) and he realised too that he had no chance of winning. That is clearly when he decided that he would rather not waste any more time in a house with a bunch of people he did not even like. Perfectly understandable to me, because up until then he did think the British public would love him.

Anyone would want to leave that house if they were being treated like Perez was, ffs Hopkins and her nasty gang treated him worse than a dog, nobody would ignore and isolate an animal.

Oh of course you must be right! Why didn't I realise that? I wonder what his reason was then for saying "f" you to the public and holding up his finger so them? Do you think it is his way of trying to get people to love him. The way others hold up their fingers to show a heart Perez thinks that the "F" you fingers work better?

My wife calls him 'Mr Backwards in opposite land'

that old school L.A 'self affirmation' thing where you sabotage what's going on and convince yourself YOU'RE making it happen so WHATEVER happens you were in control of it all along

YES I WANTED to be booed (win-win situation)

Oh they're keeping me here when I wanted to go (win-win situation)

glad the GBP saw through it

now bugger off back to la-la-land Perez

Heard the saying "hell hath no fury like a woman scorned..............." a woman that is rejected can be a very dangerous thing. A "Perez" scorned is a positively toxic thing and he will do anything and everything to try and show that it doesn't matter to him, and the rejection he feels will be magnified and projected onto those who he perceives as having wronged him. What he doesn't understand is that it was his actions and behaviours that caused that reaction and instead of trying to undo the harm he's caused he increases it to show just how much "he doesn't care"

And all that clap trap on BBOTS to Rylan about the producers saying you can't go, it's the Perez show. They would say similar things to anyone to persuade them not to leave. More attention seeking from the twerp, and all that yarping on about needing sleeping tablets and 'poor me' *yawn*.

I don't watch the show any more but tuned in late to see who had been binned and - joy of joys - heard his name announced and saw him walk out to a wall of boos, get in!!
There was someone with a banner who wanted him to visit where? Preston?

When prisoners leave jail their happiness is almost always in the form of relief not instant manic joy. Patsy's exit was more in that fashion to me and thus more believable. You haven't scored a winner in the last minute of a Champions League, you been let out of a place that you apparently hate. I call bullshit on this hiding your face and jumping around stuff.

Having said that I'm not sure that that is the pivotal issue at hand. I think that the acceptance of bullying behaviour, not just in the house but outside it too, was most worrying to me. Katie Hopkins I expect, but the likes of Visage and Kav piling into someone as emotionally fragile as Alicia freaked me out. She has dyslexia and they still went in on her reading and learning skills. That's like laughing at wheelchair basketball because they can't dunk.

It would have been better for him to have been evicted first or to have walked or been kicked out. To not even make the final shows just how boring his antics became in the end. Oh well, chances are Cuba will have its own version of Big Brother in a couple of years.

I would have thought if he wanted to emphasise that he wanted to go and was going prepared to go he would have "overdressed" (overcoat/hat /gloves scarf /bowler hat /long trousers (sorry pants..)...............as he must have known the weather was rather inclement.................instead he appeared not to bother at all to dress for leaving

I don't buy what you are implying.

I doubt very much Perez wanted to stay.

And I think we haven't heard the end of this.
