London Fashion Week Tickets?
Looking to attend London Fashion Week this year but I'm finding the ticket business quite confusing? Is anyone else attending (or has attended before) and knows about getting tickets? Thanks

London Fashion Week isn't open to the general public, only fashion industry professionals (buyers and press mostly, also PR, bloggers, designers, etc... and celebs!)
If you are a blogger you can submit your statistics to individual designers and their PR teams will approve you (or not - most are cracking down on this these days so unless you're a very successful blogger or youtuber who fits their criteria, it's unlikely you'll get in). Of course what you can do is just go down to Somerset House anyway, to do some people watching and celeb spotting on the cobbles. It's more fun anyway than the actual catwalk shows - you'd be squeezed in like cattle, shouted at, and probbly be sat or stood at the back with no view because you're not a big buyer or editor. Then the show is all over in minutes, only to run to the next one and repeat the whole process. Trust me it's no fun if you're not a VIP, I've been many times due to previous jobs. Alternatively there is London Fashion Weekend, which is specifically for the public. You can buy tickets for that. I believe it is not dissimilar to the Clothes Show Live. It's usually a weekend or two after LFW. |

Ah right, thanks! Am I not allowed to purchase tickets online then as I'm not a press/blogger etc?
As they are selling That sounds extremely dodgy to me. Fashion Week shows are free (although only open to the industry to apply for, as I said). If someone is selling them on ebay or something, they're pulling a fast one. Unless it's tickets for London Fashion WeekEND? As I said, that is open to the public and you have to pay for the tickets
