People shouldn't be so surprised that the producers are manipulating things such as Perez staying when the show is not as 'real' as it claims to be anyway. The rumours of celebrity riders this year are considerable ( these are just rumours: Katie H has own bedroom and possible phone, plus was said to be tweeting live from the house, Patsy had her yoga guru, Katie P has hair stylist) and surely by seeing or talking to people from the outside it helps the celebrities to determine a strategy. Also I wouldn't mind these things happening so much if they were made clear from the start

IT would lose the whole point of them being in there in the first place.. its supposed to be shut off from the outside world in every way... Hopkins got her own room because it suited her being able to work, we never saw in there did we... she wizll have a telly, computer and phone.
