Hopkins isn't tough though. She's just extremely mean spirited and bigoted. If she sat there and shed a tear or two for the various people who she has mocked and ridiculed in order to progress her life in the limelight then I would perhaps begin to give value to her introspection.

I know everyone who hates her will think it's fake, but I really, really think that is the most genuine we have seen her in the house.

She really doesn't know how to handle a compliment, and how to deal with people being nice to her. She wasn't brought up in the most loving of environments, so I can't imagine it's easy for her to hear people being so nice to her - especially when her parents weren't.

There's a reason she's so harsh and detached from loving emotions, and I think, for the first time, we saw a glimpse of the REAL Katie Hopkins.

She's never once claimed to be misunderstood.

She said she accepts the hate she gets on twitter, fully. She understand the hate she gets. When asked if her views are exaggerated she says no, they are her true views - and accepts the consequences of those views.

All she said tonight, was that it felt uncomfortable and weird being in the final with such "nice" people because she went in being hated and she doesn't know how to act.

Not once has she tried to make out like she is misunderstood.
