Scapegoat Perez V the rest
Ok that was brutal.
Channel 5 have basically just 'normalised' the bullying of Perez. The House-mates treat him with contempt as their norm and are not challenged by Big Brother. Eammon Holmes, James Jordan and Jim Davidson all bully him with their nasty little bitter opinions of him and are unchallenged. Despicable. It doesn't matter if Perez was annoying or not, it is simply WRONG the way he has been treated. If Katie Hopkins wins it says it all about these rats on a sinking ship and us enablers for continuing to watch it. |

It's like they don't understand it's a flaming reality TV show and not life and death because at the end of the day what has he done to deserve all of that ? nothing IMO nothing at all. Nasty the lot of them.

You reap what you sow, Perez was an annoying little s*** to a large number of h/m, if they then treat him badly perhaps that was because he treated them badly to start with. |

The object is to demonise him so that the others can smugly claim that the 'good' has prevailed....as in the fairy tale nonsense theme. Can anyone honestly tell me how any of these finalists are good people??......answers on a passed- it's-sell-by-date turnip please.

Excellent post OP.
It's bad enough how he was treated by his fellow housemates. Last night he was subjected to less than friendly interviews by Emma and Rylan. Then came the relentless barrage of viciousness from Jimmy Bullard and Lisa Zissman last night on BBBOTS. Now we see that this was all preceded by a hideous attack from James Jordan (unbelievable hypocrisy considering his bullying of an elderly man) , and unpleasant comments from Eammon Holmes and Jim Davidson. Perez was loud and irritating, but nothing he did was as bad as the nastiness from this bunch of horrors. We viewers do enable it because we continue to watch, but I feel after tonight's show that I have finally had my fill of BB, CBB and BBBOTS and I've watched it form the beginning. It's sad to see what it has become. |

Couldn't agree more, OP. His treatment on BBOTS was just as disgraceful. And booking 3 people to run that pathetic news show who are so aggressively 'anti-Perez' was another tacit endorsement of bullying.
Big Brother knows he's hated by a lot of the public and they're basically just giving the mob what it wants, which is the cultural equivalent of having the guy put in the stocks. They should be bloody thanking him for making this series so memorable. |

Oh it was, but two wrongs dont always make a right.
Having said that, perhaps its not a bad thing to see someone who has behaved as he has face the consequences. Food for thought for any future Perez's. I don't think his behaviour warranted what was dished out to him in the name of entertainment. I found it sickening viewing and for me, it's gone too far. |

I'm sorry I can't agree with you. For the show's producers to engineer such a strongly biased panel to enter the house, without any supportive voice for balance, is beyond the pale.

I would have said the same if it were Hopkins or anyone else getting that full on and one sided barrage.... |

Do you want future contestants to replicate his behaviour, or even outdo it? Should there not be anything that would make anyone think twice before behaving like him or Helen. |
