Then it's a Katie H V Michelle final 2.

I wonder where Michelle's support is coming from....the so called "gay community" are behind her I suppose?

Interesting... I didn't think Michelle had much of a chance but who knows?

As I said on another thread, it's fun to have a final without an obvious winner, hasn't happened on CBB for a while!

Yes. And people who genuinely like her. And RuPaul fans. BB does have a huge gay audience.

Twitter represents exactly nothing

As for Michelle, as a gay guy most gay people I know have been pissed off by her pose of representing us.

That would be quite funny actually, riding on KHs coat tail for the series and then pip her to the post. Purpose served

I don't see why any LGBT person would support her. If anything she is making them out to be different when they are no different from straight people.

I think she's represented the LGBTQ community well. Good luck to her.

Yes, talk of a "gay community" seems very unhelpful in 2015, as if they are a political or social movement or something and different to everyone else.

I got a bit concerned before the CBB10 final because Team HAM was trending for a very long time.
Team HAM being Harvey, Ashley and Mike (aka Situation). Then they came 6th 5th and 4th and I was content. lol

So twitter's not a great indicator, but it doesn't mean they'll be wrong this time.

Last 3 BB's they've had Jim as favourite, Gary as favourite and HELEN as favourite!

Ashleigh was the favourite on twitter, not Helen.

#HelenToWinBBUK2014 was trending for hours on Twitter - people here laughed about that! ASHLEIGH was most popular on FB though!

Really ? So her clicking her fingers and then saying "this is how gay people clap" is a good way to represent gay people is it ? No, it's making them seem different to everybody else.

From what i know, the LGBT community want to be treated the same as everybody else, not differently.

We are different in our own way. Just because we want to be accept in society doesn't mean we want to be the same as society.

My opinion (which in the grand scheme of things means zilch) is that her 'representative' spiel is rather tedious.

Michelle is there to represent Michelle.

All this LGBT promotion kinda annoys me because in this day and age what is the problem with the LGBT community representing themselves?

I'm sure I can be regarded as a boring old fart BUT I don't need anyone to represent me.
I can speak for myself and I am sure the people Michelle is 'representing' can do so also.

I just don't 'get' her and as time has gone on, she is annoying me with her 'spokesperson' rubbish. The only thing I admired about Perez was when he challenged her.

Michelle..............jump off that bandwagon and go back to singing.

Every bookie I have seen on Oddschecker within the past hour has got Calum as favourite to win tonight, which surprised me a bit. Often wherever the money is placed proves accurate too.

Often on finale day, the people who are 'nice' character get lots of money placed on them because people can make a bit of money by betting on them - him and Pricey were always going to shorten.

I suspect Katie H, Katie P and Calum will be top 3!

A Katie double top maybe, in that case?

To be fair, re: Twitter trending, it is the rate of which tweets are submitted, not the volume, that makes a phrase trend.

So, a smaller group of people who are tweeting at a very fast rate can make something trend far easier than a large group of people tweeting something sporadically.

Better to quantify Twitter popularity by number of unique user tweets, than trends.
