I didn't enjoy Perez's antics at all but I think perhaps he was told in the diary room that what he was doing was very popular with the public, viewing figures up and as he said they told him. " It's the Perez show". He and the vile Katie H then sparred for a while so that the person with the biggest fan base could come in, do nothing much at all to be entertaining - and win.
Doesn't Richard Desmond own the Channel, the show and a lot of the magazines KP features in ?
I think that Perez could have sat doing nothing much at all, got his fee and gone home, had he realised how many people were likely to vote for Katie Price regardless of what she did or didn't do.

It puzzles me, too that some people can justify or applaud such nasty behaviour.
Perez will go back to his normal life and be just fine. I doubt he gives a toss about that pack of no marks and why should he? They were pathetic and I hope they feel embarassed by the way they acted.
I completely agree. He was the star of the series and always will be. The Perez show was highly entertaining and will live on forever in hilarious clips. Best housemate ever in my opinion.

He was the primary reason the series was watched so much this year. If any housemates gets a good deal from being on this show, they owe at least a little gratitude to Perez for keeping most of us watching The Perez Show (so much better then CBB starting KH and her mean girls)

Great post. Sadly it seems a lot of celebrities think Hopkins is great and she was right to treat Perez like that Eammon Holmes, James Jordon, Jim Davidson and Phillip Scofield to name a couple.
