I agree. I can't see how being runner up is anything but good for her. I imagine she was the last person to think she'd make it that far.

She thought she was going to win. Actually said the British public liked her, but I guess not enough for her to beat someone who went in 10 days later than she did and did very little in the house.

To be fair though, Perez probably hurt his own chances a lot by regularly insulting the viewers. If he didn't, he could very well have made it to the final night.

Then you reckon wrong. The total amount of viewers for this show won't be anywhere near the total adult population of Britain. Something on TV would have to have incredibly high viewer numbers for most of Britain to be watching it.

Well, yes she did. But ask any Hopkins fan about Perez. According to them he is lowest of low, nasty bullying scum, so awful some of them thought they were going to be sick whenever The Perez Show was on their tellies.
So it's hardly the greatest accolade.

I've just said this on another thread, but at the risk of repeating myself a bit. How do you know for sure she thought she was going to win ? Of course it would have been on her mind that she had a 50/50 chance of winning, understandable as she was in the final two. But to say you know what she thought is stretching things a tad.

I'm not a KH fan. But however she got to the final the fact remains that she was a runner up. Considering she went in labeled as UK's most hated woman coming second wasn't such a bad thing for her.

Yes. She told him not to slag off the British public. They are her people. I think that was it.
Some people have taken that out of context, saying that meant she thought she was onto a winner.

I took it to mean that she was just stating that the British are her fellow countrymen.
