For weeks I have witnessed posts on here calling Katie H all the names under the Sun and stating that they would like to slap her or worse. I wonder if it ever occurs to these people that they make their argument redundant when they use far more nasty bile about her than she ever made about any h/m.

I appreciate that this is limited to a small amount of people mostly Woman and imo I can only put that down to envy some people are just intimidated by confident Woman and if they actually came face to face with her they would probably crumble into dust.

At the end of the Day Katie beat everyone else in the House and left people like Nadia and Perez way behind and was only beaten by Katie P. IMO she should be congratulated on that achievement but envy can run very deep.

Oh MAC I was kind of with you until you went and singled out women - if we're not accused of being eaten up with jealousy over the young attractive females, we're crippled with envy at the older ones confidence and strength.

At the end of the day if you want to congratulate her, go ahead, that's your right and your entitled to it.

If other people don't want to congratulate her and want to stoop to her level and call her names, that's their right and their entitled to it.

It does NOT however make those people envious, jealous, intimidated or any of the other crap that's spouted when someone doesn't like someone else's favourite.

It just plain old means that they don't agree with your opinion.

As a confident older woman myself I can categically say that I am not envious of someone who earns their living sneering at other people. It must be a strange life for KH stirring up hatred and having to face a continual backlash. It sounds exhausting and not a life that I would aspire to in any way.

I don't like Katie Hopkins - and yet I'm not remotely envious of her. It's such a sweeping generalisation to suggest that people who dislike her must be in some way be jealous. I mean, what is there actually to be jealous of?
Fair enough, it's not nice to call someone names (although Hopkins herself maybe needs to learn this), yet maybe you need to just accept that some people don't like her.

No I don't envy her. Her achievements are zilch when compared to the majority of people. I wouldn't want to be a sad, bitter woman.

Oh get a grip. You are assuming that women have to possess the traits of arrogance and a raging sense of entitlement to be self confident. KH has these traits in bucketloads and they are also probably a shield against her insecurity . She soon crumbles or walks away if she is challenged with anyone of any eloquency. She picks her victims with great care. And anyone who doesn't applaud her behaviour must be envious of her...yup that's typical of the propaganda her acolytes would spit out.

The truth is she thrives on PC not because she challenges it but because she doesn't get confronted herself on a personal level because of it. When Perez went for the jugular about her own personal actions in helping to break up multiple families, he was shut down because everyone saw it as rude. It's like a boxing match where only one boxer is allowed to hit below the belt. A real straight down the line person would have ripped her apart but they don't exist in the mainstream anymore.

I question the notion that Hopkins is a 'confident woman' Being loud, bolshy and hurtful towards other people is not to be mistaken for confidence. It suggests the opposite - insecurity.

People dislike her because she is a nasty person plain and simple.
