I checked in last night to see who had won, and actually thought, "well at least Katie Hopkins' fans won't be able to blame jealous women!" Plain, unlikeable and seemingly without talent of any kind, she seems one of the last people from CBB one could imagine causing jealousy in women. So I laughed out loud when I saw that someone had had a go at it. From the response on twitter last night, I gather she made an almighty fool of herself on BBOTS as well.

I don't really understand what there is to envy KH over, she seems a rather sad person who will eventually disappear from the public eye and I can only hope she has enough money put by she doesn't need a job because I can't see too many people wanting to employ her, or she will go too far one day and end up in prison for some sort of hate crime.
Having said that I have never called the woman a name or want to hit her, she is not worth getting angry about as she will eventually rap what she sows IMO

I'm not sure I understand the premise of being envious of Ms Hopkins.

In my view, she's a fairly ordinary looking woman - neither hideous nor particularly attractive who has a reasonably brain and a decent command of words. There is nothing spectacular about her abilities except that she has chosen the path of reality TV to project herself into the public eye and has, once there, done whatever she could to maintain her public profile and be paid for it.

Unfortunately, as she possesses neither beauty or talent in any great measure, she's had to resort to shock tactics and has therefore created a persona that gets its notoriety from rude, unpleasant (occasionally amusing, more often try-hard and predictable) comments disguised as "plain speaking".

I really don't see what there is to be envious about someone who has chosen to use their life and the abilities they have been allocated in this way. To create a character that has no consideration for the feelings of anyone and spouts controversy for the sake of it in the most offensive way she can find with a veneer of supposed wit - no thank you. And whether she believes any, some, most or all of what she pours forth is largely irrelevant.

I've only just watched last nights SOTS and agree. So embittered and spiteful. She couldn't stop herself. No holding back resentfulness spilled out like a waterfall. I should feel pity but I just can't.

She should be made to watch it again and again.

havent read all the replies here, but 'envy?' 'really???' who in their right mind would envy a small minded singularly unattractive bigot who attacks every sector of society she deems 'inferior' to herself? who 'is' she exactly? and why does she feel she has the right to destroy people with her tongue? i dont care what she does in her private life, what views she holds, who she likes or dislikes but when she starts to attack and tear down vulnerable elements in society then shes crossing the line. my main concern is that her children are witnessing her vile behaviour and will deem it acceptable and emulate her, in my eyes this is a form of abuse. children should be brought up to be loved, cared for, taught right from wrong, acceptable behaviour, the amount of stick they must receive just for being born from this despicable specimen is sad in the extreme, i doubt she spends much time with them but that can only be a good thing
