It seems strange that Katie P was in the house late, got paid 500.000 to go into BB, had her own hairdresser, wasn't well with boobs so had see the doctor a lot and was boring yet she won BB..
Me thinks BB covering there backs to prove she was worth the money, BB wouldn't put someone like her for the amount she is being paid to lose the BB show!

No. She was simply more popular than the rest.

Easy how do you know your votes are being counted .. Do you work for BB and see all the calls come in to be counted?

This series & line up was the easiest one to 'legally' fix! KP has a lot of fans (why I don't know but it is what it is) so when she gets to the final two & is faced with either KH or Perez (which was always more than likely) she was always going to win. Both Hopkins & Hilton had their haters so which ever one was in the final two with her, their haters were always going to vote Price! It's that simple!

How was Emma able to predict Pricey as the winner when she hadn't even entered the house. Emma and Rlan had sealed their predictions well before KP was in there????

I agree. I think the public votes don't count anyway. I had a conversation only this morning about Katie Price having it written in her contract, along with hairdresser etc., that she would win. I stopped voting a long time ago because I didn't trust the producers of this show. I remember I'm a Celebrity a few years ago when David Gest was on it and 50,000 votes 'went missing' -very convenient!

I don't think the votes were fixed at all, but it was obvious she was CH5's choice for the win and she certainly had advantages over other housemates. Any housemate would struggle to go up one on one against her fanbase for sure.
At the end of the day who cares who won a CBB, just a bit of fun and a trashy reality show, albeit slightly less reality than it used to be.

Because she was far and away the best known person in there? KP may be slightly on the wane, but she was still a coup for BB. We all know that even a couple of years ago she wouldn't have touched it with a bargepole. It's a pretty low-status show these days.

Agree but lots of loyal fans of BB have been watching this trash since the show was introduced to our tv screens and we don't want to be made fools by votes that don't count ... Then again most of these shows quite happy to take our money and not prove where the votes are being counted

I suspect that a lot of people have given up voting on this show as it's clearly so contrived by the producers. Which means that anyone with a large fanbase like KP is in with a good chance. Editing will do the rest ...

I think you will find that WAS the case in the old days! Now there are more ways to vote....including online AND the ridiculous app they have, there is no way that the votes can be officially verified!

Apart from once (when I phoned once for the lovely Jimmy Osmond on IAC) I've not voted in these things at all. It is just a waste of money. But with regard to this series of CBB - people here on DS have been saying 'its been fixed for Perez/Katie Horse/Cheggers/Calum' at one point or another. I don't think any voting was fixed - I think they just know that Katie P's fanbase is so much bigger than the others - that if she was in there she'd win. It would be like putting Red Rum in a race with nine donkeys - there would only be one winner.

I didn't know that about David Gest though - I remember at the time being shocked that he missed out on the final three! David Gest is without doubt the best ever participant in this kind of show.

How many votes from the public, and how many from her employees is what I would be interested to know. She was the preferred winner, old Willis, who must be obeyed promoted her heavily.

I laugh at the whole 'girl next door' bit, poor Harvey is on his 4th live in 'daddy' ,and the fifth won't be far off.

I agree I think the show producers just choose who they want to win, if Katie P hadn't won then there be lots of backlash saying they wasted £500,000 on her.. Producers of BB needed to cover there backs ...

I don't think it was fixed. But I think with the largest fan base by far of all the people in there it was inevitable. I also don't believe that the there was much doubt in the producers minds who the winner would be.

Her overacting faux fear at evictions and her supposed surprise at winning may have fooled some tho

People cry fix after every result with no evidence, because it didn't go their way, so the word has lost all meaning.

Its not like it was Ken Morley who won, or that idiot Kavana. Katie Price was always going to be there or there abouts as soon as she went in.

Plus it seemed obvious to me that Channel 5 wanted Hopkins to win from the start, maybe that changed towards the end but Hopkins was definitely the one channel 5 wanted hense all the 'Nations sweetheart' brainwashing BOTS was doing every night.
